I just found your channel and have to commend you on the quality of your videos. Love the drone shots along with the variety of content. As a fellow Minnesotan, I love to see so many MN farmers making KZbin channels. I've spent the past two days watching so many of your videos. Keep up the great work.

Do you guys have problems with bears living in the corn and destroying some of the field?
@MarkHaugen6 ай бұрын
Yeah the bears definitely find it but they don't do enough damage.

We plant our wheat in late fall after beans come off just wondering why you guys plant wheat in the spring is it because you are that far north ? Were from northwest Ohio

I know there is one so there is no need to look for other women with the two he has at home oh my god how beautiful they were I also laugh a little every time I say Danner 🎂🎂 🎂 🎂(then Google translate him to Dane) but with that by name I would think he comes from Poland and jenson (son) is the ending from Sweden or Norway for a Dane wants (sen) at the end

What speed do you run the corn planter and tractor at? About how many acres can you plant per hour normally? Did you say the row spacing was 22 inches up there? Those are big fields!
@MarkHaugen6 ай бұрын
About 5.2-5.4 mph when the planters rolling about 45 acres an hour
@MarkHaugen6 ай бұрын
Yes 22" spacing
@MarkHaugen6 ай бұрын
Most common row spacing mainly because of sugar beets just west of Us in the Red River valley.
@farmcentralohio6 ай бұрын
Could getting stuck have caused that track issue? Maybe when pulling it out that twist pushed it out.
@MarkHaugen6 ай бұрын
I don't think so I'm pretty sure it worked it's way out over time
@OutdoorsEquipmentInFargoND6 ай бұрын
Could the turning technique of backing up with the tanks loaded cause this movement?
@MarkHaugen6 ай бұрын
No it just loosened up and moved out. We should have double-checked it this winter

What is the new concrete pad for?
@MarkHaugen6 ай бұрын
We are planning on relocating 4 .. 5k bushel bins we already have in the yard on it.
@mcleodfarmer52086 ай бұрын
Just curious, why only 1 round of end rows and backing around?
@MarkHaugen6 ай бұрын
When we open up fields in the fall it's much faster three passes instead of 6 .. it's also more efficient when side dressing.
@gavinburkett58296 ай бұрын
How come you were backing up in your turns?
@MarkHaugen6 ай бұрын
I backup so I only need one pass on the end rows . When we open the fields in the fall it's much faster. 3 passes instead of 6 .
@chadjennings14166 ай бұрын
What row spacing do you plant your corn?
@MarkHaugen6 ай бұрын
22"
@MarkHaugen6 ай бұрын
22". It is very common in the Red River valley just west of use mainly because of sugar beets.
