I saw a clip where Madam is introducing her Ustad and musicians and when it's Achi Mian's turn, she says......."inn ka taaruf zarra mushkil hei, yeh na mearay ustaad hein, na shagird, lekin inn kay begai hum kuch bhi nahi hein!!!!!! Ustad Je was not a poor man, this interview was taken in his ancestral house. FYI Madam took care of Ustad ji all her life, she had build a separate living area for Ustad inside the boundary walls of her house in Gulberg, Lahore where he lived all his life. She also took care of all his children. Ustad Je only moved back to Kasur few months before Madam’s death.

Lata mangeshkar has been a phenomenon... n I'm her huge fan... ..... But whatever he said about her is true....... She doesn't sing from her diaphragm........ Very few singers do...... Noor Jehan was one of them....... Nowadays, I believe it's Adele who does....... But even Adele can't hold a straight face when hitting high notes n neither could Lata...... Noor Jehan would hit the highest notes with a straight n smiling face
