Most look like something pulls on them from behind, with so little footwork to distance ratio. I love Jane's dodge the most so far. She goes to the side and back, which makes sence as she clears the danger axis from the front. Recovery is particularly graceful, showcasing perfect control over body and balance.

Honestly, I really like Nekomata's, Rina's and Lycaon's. Jane's dodge animation is the most unique by far though. I really like how she scurries back in her blue-gauge mode.

The amount of work they put into her animations is insane compared to everyone else. They must have had their A team working on her, and given them lots of extra time, and it really shows.

I know Jane has the flashiest one and Nekomata has the most acrobatics. But Rina's goes so hard with the characterization when the animators didn't have to. Her dodge suggests that Drusilla's the one having to pull her away from danger instead of Rina avoiding the danger herself. She has threads on her fingers connected to the two, but that doesn't mean she commands their every move. That's why her hand was pulled away before she could grab Drusilla. This also compliments and implies a lot of things about Rina and Drusilla: Rina's high tolerance for her own poisonous food suggests that she just has a tolerance for pain, diseases, toxins, etc. along with being mutli-talented and incredibly selfless. It would make sense that getting hurt in a fight is the last thing that comes to Rina's mind. Drusilla on the other hand knows that Rina isn't indestructible and can be absent minded about these things that she has to pull Rina away herself. This suggests that under her mean exterior, Drusilla cares a lot about Rina and Anastella. (at least as a team/unit)

While I mostly agree, Rinas grace and dodge assistant wins in my book, and Burnice would be the likely best if it didn't frame skip on the second dodge so hard. Also I think Lycaons foot control deserves an honorable mention, its a nice detail for the leg fighter.

You can dodge forward as well and the animation is a bit different. Also, you don't need to slow it down to this degree it's annoying you can pick up details even if it's not THIS slowed down.
