i find it really interesting how yin-yang's personalities ended up settling in season three. i like how they more equally matched yin's intensity with yang's, and how they leaned into them being more like twin brothers that bicker with each other. and i find it especially interesting how they chose to emphasize some more childish tendencies and personality traits with them. a shame we never got to see them interact with cherries again tho. the juxtaposition between yin-yang being two people in one body, and cherries being one(??) person in two bodies was pretty neat.

it is true tbh, even if yin was being a little over the top abt it in that episode. 😭i was almost kinda taken aback by how genuinely mean yin was being, acting like yang was being completely ridiculous and unreasonable when he really wasnt. i was used to just hearing yang's more petty, childish insults, so seeing yin actually pushed to his limit and seriously digging into yang without yang rly knowing what to do abt it was interesting, and i liked it even if it was sort of abrupt. it showed a different side of yin's personality, and it seems the whole thing of being "the good one" did in fact get into his head a little there.
