There is a new game similar to genshin coming out on may 22nd with the potential to give genshin a run for its money based on all the hype and everything we have witnessed from both beta tests and their announcements. The upcoming game is called “Wuthering Waves”. I definitely recommend you watch the trailers and character teasers. My top recommendation is that you watch the song trailer “Saving Light”. It is an incredible song with epic fight scenes.

Arlecchino wants to make sure each of the kids can survive and be okay on their own if something happens to her or any of the others.

@@monke.2323 Not fooling anyone. I will admit, for quite a while (maybe like 8 months) I did enjoy Genshin when I started. But recently their updates have been complete garbage (from my point of view). I like the combat aspect of Genshin, and the more you play it, the less you get to experience it. I'm not a toddler who enjoys brainrot minigames that they bring each patch. And now with Fontaine getting more underwater areas, pulling for characters and building them is becoming more and more futile. Then I am left questioning myself: What for did I spend hundreds of hours building my characters? So I could spend 20 minutes every month in the abyss grinding the same content? I completely gave up hope on Genshin back when the devs announced that they don't plan to add end game content because they think it causes anxiety... I am now just eagerly waiting on Wuthering Waves. Also, I do still enjoy Honkai Star Rail as the developer team for that game are the GOATS. They bring new, engaging end game content every few patches, as well as awesome QOL changes and rewards. I am not completely crapping on the game, because sure, a lot of people probably enjoy this "casual" game, maybe even the story (even if the story telling is crap most of the times: endless useless dialogue with a ton of repetition and then a few minutes of amazing climax/ending + cutscene). But Genshin fell off hard for me (and I believe a lot of other people) I tried to be as objective as possible, signifying the parts which were more personal to me. If you have any counter arguments, I'd love to hear them

She raises the children and takes care of them, and they carry out her missions as fatui. Linney, Lynette and Freminet - ones of the orphans of the House of the Hearth. Arlecchino is really awesome! She sets a new tone for the game. I suppose you will react to the Genshin content next week, especially the Arlecchino Boss Theme music may be the next. In that case, I'd recommend watching an official live version from Hoyo called "Absolutio Absoluta Absolutissime". It's live but the music is the same as in the game, and also with some surprise)

The "Mother's" name is Crucabena a Gallic equivalent of the Welsh enchantress Ceridwen 5:16 Pretty sure she offed herself the shot is kind of a common way to depict that in anime and manga without fully showing it, and we dont see her hands so she is likely holding the sword hilt. Peruere is Arlecchino's real name prior to joining the Harbinger. Clervie (pink hair) is Crucabena "Mother's" biological child.

Arlecchino is absolutely the perfect, terrifying character. Even her recent web event was more horror-focused than any other that we'd had. Her signature weapon takes the form of a scythe (first we've ever had) and she's extremely fun to play as. Very intriguing lore as well. Context of the short (warning: wall of text incoming): The scenario of the short is the House of Hearths, which was an orphanage sited in Fontaine but run by Fatui. The head of the orphanage was "Mother", alias Crucabena, who was a fatui Harbinger and The Knave of the time. The House of Hearths, however, wasn't exactly an orphanage, but rather some expionage/covert ops fatui organization where "children" would be sent on all manner of missions, usually involving crimes and murder. The goal of "mother" was to create a "King", aka the strongest child of that batch, and it was going to be by pinning the children against each other in a fight to the death. Beneath that sweet face lied a coldhearted witch who had no care for the children. She even put her own daughter in there. Clervie, the long-haired girl who became Peruere's best friend, was Crucabena's biological daughter. What's worse is that, when children would come back heavily injured or impaired, in a state where they couldn't go on missions anymore, Crucabena would send them to Dottore (another fatui harbinger who's basically a psychopatic doctor with no sense of humanity) to be experimented on, for a fate worse than death. And Clervie knows all this. That part where they were kids and Clervie was injured was because Clervie tried to convince Mother to stop that, stop sending kids to Dottore and stop with this "killing each other" fate she had in store for them, and of course that went badly. When they grew up Clervie basically lost all hope. Since she couldn't run away from the House of Hearths nor fight Mother (both because she believed Crucabena to be too strong, and because she was still her mother, her own flesh and blood), her only way out was death. "I'm sorry", "Thank you". She said those words to Peruere as both an apology for giving up and a thanks for freeing her. The duel between Peruere and Crucabena happened one year after that. "I should have pruned this flower long ago, not wait until it wilts. How grotesque". With that phrase, Crucabena wasn't referring to the flowers, but to her dauther: Clervie always wore a pendant shaped with the same flowers. Here, Crucabena is showing her true colors: she thinks she should've killed her daughter long before she decided to suicide, thus bringing shame to her. Peruere fought her because, unlike Clervie, a way out is there for her: to fight and kill Crucabena. Also she has this "curse" which seems to be some sort of overwhelming amout of pyro energy, on her side. After killing Crucabena, the Tsaritsa (the cryo archon and ruler of Shnezhnaya, the nation the Fatui belong to), not only decided to pardon her but to give her Crucabena's place, turning her into the current Knave. The name "Arlecchino" is because, as stated with the other harbingers and that other short from awhile ago, harbingers get names/codenames from this italian theather opera called "Commedia dell'Arte", and Arlecchino is one of them. As the new Knave, she took charge of the House of Hearts. She chose to be called "Father" from her children to mark a difference in management compared to Crucabena. The House of Hearths is still pretty much both an orphanage and an expionage organization, however the Knave has no arrangements with Doctor (whom she despises) and behind that stern look and that overwhelmingly intimidating aura, she does care for her children. Her imperscrutable demeanor and always composed self stems from her life motto: "Anger makes you impulsive, and sorrow causes you to waver. Always maintain control over your emotions." You are kinda right in asking yourself what's happening in Genshin. The story has taken quite a turn to the dark with Fontaine. And we scheduled of visiting Natlan next, a nation who wallows in war and fighting so I expect things to become even darker.

Well, Genshin from the very beginning was a fun tale only on the surface, dig a little into the lore and you'll see a slowly dying world with a fairly high mortality rate among the population and monsters that can never be completely gotten rid of, because it's a property of the local world due to the way the local elemental particles behave, not a game convention In general, this world is not in a better state than the dying worlds of Dark Souls or Elden Ring, from the popular ones, it's just that Genshin disguises it with the appearance of brightness and simplicity Which has a rather interesting effect though, when he starts to openly show the darker moments, it touches people much more than another dark moment in Dark Souls, where those dark moments become a routine

In her eyes, losing a loving mother who manipulated you, is way worse than losing an unfeeling "Father". She cares for the children, but won't show it since then they could grow more attached to her. You know Hoyo went off the rails when we saw like five seconds of this character two years ago in another video teasing the harbingers and they looked at the response and decided she needed an entire anime short with nothing but love pit into it right before the usual teaser and demo that both goharder than diamonds and hit like daddys belt when the painkillers wear off midway through the ass whopping. I wont even cap i dropped a cool crisp hundred for her because i loved her design before but shes now the best character in the game and thats saying a lot when compared to Furina post archon quest.

It have a total of 4 opening plus, 1 special opening for it s special episode(Blaze) Also, it has an opening for it s game too call Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans Uldr Hunt. However in Uldr hunt it s a different mc because it took place at different planet. *(So, in total there's 6 opening and 4 ending song for Gundam IBO)* Also, I really recommend you to watch the anime since it s really good....if you love a heartbreaking scene, then this anime is for you....if you want to compare how sad each characters death in JJK...well I prefer Gundam IBO alot more sadder and heartbreaking than JJK...❤
