Different from me. I'm Filipino but I don't listen to OPM not until I heard Morissette in late 2018. I only listened to western music such as rock bands and some pop artists and then I was intrigued to Morissette's capabilities. I was captivated and now, my KZbin is full of Morissette recommendations. She's exceptional. They're correct.

Although I'm not really a fan of Mori but ​I, We can't really deny that Morissette is the standard as she is a versatile singer and an artist even majority of us knows it already but some just don't accept it due to their pride. Some are making fool of themselves just to protect their motive and idolism on their idol and I was once like that. The majority of the masses locally and internationally had already decide that Mori is the standard in the Philippines. We can't just call a singer that she is the best as she can sustain high belt notes and just like that, the perfect criteria to call an artist/singer that he/she is the best is "Versatility", not just can sing and belt high notes, but can also tell a story, compose a song, can rock the stage with grooves, and can touch the heart of the masses with its good personality and motive. That way, we can call an artist/singer the best. And Morissette has the aforementioned traits or criteria above.

She was on tour in Italy with the ABS CBN team, she did a performance of SB19s GENTO, singing dancing and rapping, it's quite incredible, she was also in London on Saturday gone performing at a gay couples wedding, I believe she earned 23 thousand pounds which is around 32 thousand dollars for singing five songs, money well spent i would definitely say 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️.

I'm a filipino. and with more than 50 years of my existence here in my country i've never been attracted or get addicted by a performances of any female singers here except for Morissette. I've seen Regine, Sarah, Charice performances but they're just okay for me. I also like Katrina and Klarisse de guzman. But for me Morissette is the BEST female singer here in my country.

First of all, let's talk about tone and the quality of the voice of Morissette...that alone is a huge step ... skills can be argued but Morissette's skill when it comes to belting is different from all the singers out there in the Philippines If you think what you're saying is right...then she has songs to prove you wrong....Disney has chosen her for her sweet and light tone (well she can manipulate her voice from dark timbre to the lightest )and not to mention...the other side of Morissette can also be seen with her 'From the Sea' debuts....non of the songs are belty..just pure tone yet so hard to sing cause she's got her own styles twisted to the original songs she put out
