BTS Don't ever feel u don't know english so its difficult individually to get world wide attention, if i can learn korean u can definitely learn english.practice watching english series like friends, marvel movies u will get it in a month or 2.trust me on dat.I always see u guys feel a lil inferior during English interviews, English talks.jst dont worry.learning english is not as big deal as learning new songs or dance moves.

Kim Taehungg probably not...it is a TON of work (like multiple all nighters and i have to pay for video editing software subscription) but people always end up dissatisfied with how the members are presented...like i’ve been accused of being against jimin, tae, jin, hobi, jk by their respective (solo?) stans and some people even accuse me of hating on yoongi (??? literally my bias??) i made a 2020 one just focused on the group and even then ppl got mad at the little blurbs at the end regarding member roles...don’t really want to step onto that minefield again

They've fused their songs with r&b, edm, pop, hip hop, house, rock, etc. Thanks for doing a little research on them 🙂 If you're curious about their music, there are videos that can guide you through their albums and the different genres they've covered. They've even sampled songs from American artists like J.Cole, but they're not part of their albums, they're for the fans. A good example is their remake of Born Sinner, rewritten as "Born Singer."

Same. Even if technique isn't perfect, what matters more is emotion and being able to stand out with your own style and voice. No one would listen to a robot sing with perfect technique but no emotion. Lemme remind you that emotion is a thing that can't be taught as well as other techniques (same goes for vibrato, which Jimin also has). You're either born with the talent or figure it out yourself.

I’m a 35 yo married woman and I didn’t know what was the deal with BTS. Thought they were kinda silly and couldn’t understand the appeal. Then I watched the MVs for Boy With Luv and Dynamite and man, was I hooked! Their songs are fun and catchy, with meaningful lyrics, their performances are breathtaking and impressive and they seem to be 7 lovely boys that get along and do what they love... I’ve had some rough moments this last year and their songs lift me up and put a smile on my face. So this is my second time watching this video (I can almost always recognize each one of them) and Jimin and Jungkook have become my favorites... I guess I’ve joined an ARMY now!

Tim Drake My daughter has been ARMY since 2014 and never shared much about BTS. I knew of them from her. When they were on The Voice this year I saw them for the first time and I was hooked! I'm 57 years old and I've come from a whole nest of artists. The life story is a sad one, but tonight I was introduced to BTS by my granddaughter who is an amazing child. None of us have much of anything, but she was taken away from the family almost 5 years ago and we've only been in touch for the last year. She is a spiritual (not religious) child by nature and has connected with this group on a pretty profound level. Somewhere she heard that BTS would be playing in Orlando. We don't have much but if I could have found tickets that we could have afforded, I would have found a way. No one deserves to see these kids more than she does. She's seeing way beyond the show, she listens to the messages, she's impressed by the variations in their music as was I. We studied the legend of the flower together tonight on the phone. Unfortunately, what she had believed, that they were actually going to come to a place close to where she is now, was not at all true. It was very sad. We looked into the culture in which these kids were raised. Amazing. She loves them because they are beautiful and joyful. She wants that in her life and they inspire her, despite the horrible things she's been through in her very short life; they've made a place inside her that she feels safe to be. We spent many hours together tonight by telephone. She guided me through their songs as she monitored my reaction to everything we listened to. I know from what I've seen so far, that these kids love humankind. If ever they come to Orlando or where I am in North Carolina, we would love the chance to see them. Kudos to the boys, their brilliance, their talent, their ability to experience joy and be everything all at one time. The love they share with their "army". Just know that there is one little girl, interestingly, her name is Italia (where the legend had taken place) and she would love to see her new friends in person if ever there is an opportunity.

Other fun facts for new fans that might be interesting to know: - Namjoon/RM is a genius with an IQ of like 148: to convince his parents into letting him pursue music, he said he could be the top 1000 in the nation for academics, but he KNOWS he can be the #1 rapper if given the chance. He is also pretty well-known for being a little clumsy and unintentionally breaking things. - Jin was scouted based basically on his looks (hence he's the visual or the designated "looker" of BTS) but he worked hard and steady to become an amazing dancer and singer. Jin is also pretty good at sports and is a great snowboarder (there r cool clips of him). - Suga worked part time to pay for his education while also training for BTS. As a delivery guy, a car hit him and injured his shoulder, but he didn't get it checked out and told no one in the fear that he'll get kicked out of BTS. He also has a dog named Min Holly who he loves so much. - If JK is the golden maknae, then J Hope is the golden hyung. He's also pretty good at singing when he's not joking around, and originally was supposed to be a vocalist. Also it's mentioned here already, but check out Hope World! He apparently works really hard and lifts the spirit of BTS up, almost as a second leader. - Jimin formerly was well-known for his skill in tumbling and his abs, back in the old days. He doesn't do so much tumbling anymore and doesn't show his abs (but it's ok, cuz we got JK doing that job in this comeback lol). He's also SUPERR flexible (like can do splits both ways and fold himself in half) and was class prez/rep for 9 years... and his duality on and off stage is insane (yeah he's my bias)... - Taehyung was designated the most handsome face of 2017. Although Jin's the "visual", Tae is seriously well-known for his looks. He also went through really difficult times last year when his grandmother was ill (and eventually died) and he felt so much pressure to perform well in the historical drama, Hwarang. He has a cute eyebrow dog, Yeontan. - JK loves physical activity ;) ;) jks he just loves to work out and apparently has the best body (although I think he mentioned once that he was inspired to work out bcuz of Jin's body). Also he ALWAYS, ALWAYS sounds exactly how he does on CD which is insane because in concerts it's like 3 hours of non-stop cardio for BTS but his voice is always so stable...?

It's a huge fanbase with various different ages. The toxic ones are the loudest and young ones, but overall majority are good ppl. We don't let them give us a bad name. RM is the best leader and Suga is one too, he leads from the back. They're the backbones to the group. But individually they give their own different ways to add to their group as a whole. yes also they have like a reality show (RunBTS and it's free). They are so SO funny lol and also very humble and relatable guys. They take music and performing really seriously also they went through a lot of shit since their debut (debuted in an almost in bankruptcy agency)....They love their fans a lot and always communicate with them via live (on the Vlive application) or on weverse ( it's a application where both them and fans can communicate, share photos and messages. They often reply to funny and encouraging posts and share cute photos with their doggies etc).

I had problems during my divorce in another country and needed to go with my son because if i didnt my husband was planning to take my child away. I came back to the country i grew up and lived for 7 months in a womens shelter with a 2 years old baby.. after some time i came in a depression. 2 years ago i watched a korean movie for the first time because i had a bad back and couldnt do anything after that i found these boys and god a whole new world opened. One of my favorite (sad) stories from BTS is when Suga got hit by a car (motorcycle?) while trying to make money on a delivery route. He told the other team members that he hurt his shoulder falling down the stairs in the dorm and didn't tell the staff/manager until the injury started getting worse because he was afraid they would kick him off the team.

Ok real talk. I don´t listen to kpop, not because its not my kind of music but because I never found any band or songs that I enjoyed listening to. Friends repeatedly tried to get me into BTS but I dismissed them, because lets face it kpop is kinda looked down upon by westerners (unfortunately). I didn´t have anything against kpop but I also didn´t want to get into it because I had heard that parts of the kpop industry treat the idols like money horses and not humans. But thats not the point here. When I was going through a specifically hard time, being depressed and on top of that being extremely stressed with finishing my last year of IB and just going through the daily motions...I was very depressed (I had always been depressed but this time around it was especially bad ) and lived on autopilot for almost a year - I suddenly decided that I wanted to try and find joy in the small things in life. And while I was trying to find something I could get into and be excited for, no matter how small - BTS popped up in my youtube recommended list. "Blood Sweat & Tears" was the song that had popped up. The thumbnail looked interesting and I recognised "BTS" as a name that friends told me about years before. So, I went out on a limb and did something that I would have not done normally. I clicked on it and seriously listened to it, watched it and absorbed it. Sure enough, I enjoyed it and thought "Well, that was good also that one guys was pretty fascinating (Jimin). This could be interesting". And what do you know, I find myself on "Save me" amongst others, and before I know I have listened to over half their songs, watching a bunch of different "introduction to BTS" videos, BTS memes and BTS run. They were a fascinating bunch and they had something that I felt was lacking with other gorups, or more artists in general. They were real. When watching the music videos, reading the lyrics and even when watching them goof off behind the scenes they just felt real. I know this sounds stupid, but what I mean is that they didn´t feel like they had a face on. They felt like geniune kind, dorky humans and that just made me love them 100x times more. In a way, their songs and lyrics saved me. I could relate to most, and the others were just music that got me hyped up and gave me energy to complete tasks I feel like I couldn´t complete before. And before I knew it I found myself excited over new releases. And gods know, I cried a lot when they released "Love yourself". I cried out of happiness because damn, someone needs to say it. We *need and should* love ourself more. We should strive to be better but to most importantly be happy. And dear lord, you know I love these boys for using the whole "Love yourself no matter what" theme for this album, because we all needed it and its so important that I can´t even put it into words. These guys are amazing and while they didn´t pull me out of a dark place I was in, they opened the door for me, let some light in and showed me that I didn´t have to sit in a corner of self hate and sadness, but that I also could walk outside. That being said, my life does not revolve around these boys. Heck, yes I´m a fan but I am not crazy for them because I´m simply not the type of person to obsess over something ( god I wish I was though ). However, I will be dammed if I don´t support these boys in every step they take, because they work so hard and dear lord do I want them to do well and be happy and healthy. These boys deserve all the good things that come their way.
