Okay, DRX are out, its rough, but I GENUINELY think if Gen G beat T1, DRX would’ve qualified. T1 have definitely been a worse team than DRX this season so far, and given how confidence-based they’ve been, I think if they lost that first game they would’ve not had it in them to turn it around in time for the next day. I think were dooming DRX way too much, I personally think they should stick with the same roster, but thats just my opinion.
@konosuba3507 ай бұрын
Drx just not that good in playoff just admit it they are group stage andy
@Noblepeanut7 ай бұрын
@@konosuba350I mean that was usually the case in international tournaments, DRX used to demolish the competition in Korea. But due to DRX not being the innovators they used to be and the competition in pacific getting better, thats no longer the case. DRX are in a regrowth period and I think they need to treat it as such and develop these young players (which they didnt do last year with their weird subbing Foxy9 out tactics). But I genuinely think all the pieces in the team are solid and they can pull off some seriously great things. I used to be the biggest DRX doubter but I have been very impressed by Foxy9 and Beyn this year and think they are ideal moving forward, and they should not drop either of them.
@nilakshachandula71857 ай бұрын
nah. t1 just good in playoffs and map pool is same as drx. but they are better in those maps. prx just a matchup problem for them. t1 realy anti strats ts and geng hard because they had time to prep. in groups they had no time because they had unfair schedule. they played 4 matches in first two weeks. any other team didn't had that unfair schedule
@jorgeaguiar62767 ай бұрын
Even our region (BR) was doubting LOUD, so i guess is fair to doubt them. But oh man, it is scary when you give them a chance, because they always bounce back and always go on a deep run. They looked shaky going into champs 2023 and out of nothing they had a legit chance to win it, going 4-1 against the favorites with a stomp on Lotus that made them ban their own map. I think LOUD has been arguably the most consistent team of VALORANT, sometimes they give reason to doubt them, but they always give reason to believe in them bouncing back from it, like they always do.
@McChickenJOI7 ай бұрын
no for real they have to actually be the most consistant team no?
@er3n_genes1s217 ай бұрын
I wouldn't say them to be "consistent" at all considering they flopped mega hard at Copenhagen and at Tokyo
@jorgeaguiar62767 ай бұрын
@@er3n_genes1s21 I mean.. every other team in the world had their flops, like nrg and prx, they're the only team that showed up every year with at least a title, without ever missing an international event. I think they are the most consistent team, because no other team had that many deep runs, with titles every year, and without missing any events. From day one, LOUD dominated regionals, got 2nd place in their first international event, and after getting a early exit at Copenhagen they bounced back with the Champions title, and after losing Tokyo they went on a 3rd place run at Champions 2023, while dominating Americas earlier. And now they just lost aspas and still went to Masters after so much doubts, and after that they've still qualified for the playoffs (with a little luck). They really NEVER missed an event, while winning some or getting close to winning pretty much every event they've disputed (Masters 2nd, Champs 1st, Lock In 2nd, Americas 1st, Champs 3rd), and I don't think any other team came close (besides Optic in 2022) to be this consistent. Since 2022, when LOUD was created, they literally been in every final from EVERY event in VALORANT (Masters, Champions, Lock-In, VCT Americas, Kick-Off). So I guess they really are the most consistent team.

Ngl, this felt like a weaker episode of Platchat. There's been times where I've taken long breaks from listening to it because of episodes like this that get way too hyper and loud in my headphones. I think that adding all these guests, like the APAC guys like Achillios & Will really add a lot to that section especially when some of the main guys haven't had time to disect all the APAC games. And Sliggy ofc is a fav just in general but especially for EMEA, & Shawn ofc for Americas. Those ppl all add a ton of great analysis and insight to the podcast.. but sometimes it just goes so far off course, which personally I'm not here for. I don't mind a lot of the joking around and memes, but often it's just not funny when everyone starts yelling over eachother and laughing hysterically. It was really bad in the last episode, Mimi and Bren sometimes just feed off eachother in the worst way and that was really evident last episode which was suuuuper unfortunate because I thought it was awesome that Kaquka was there but I couldn't listen to it like I normally do on my commute because the volume was so up and down when ppl would start screaming over eachother. It's 1 of the reasons why Josh is my favourite of the regulars, he seems to almost always review the actual games he's talking about and if he hasn't he lets us know and let's others who have take on talking about those matches. He can be funny but doesn't get so crazy that it makes my ears bleed and gets so far off track that idk what's even going on anymore.. I think he handles it really professionally while still being super entertaining. & I get that sometimes not everyone can watch all the matches from every region, but then maybe those times just let the guests who have watched talk? since if you haven't watched it you probably shouldn't be giving hot takes about it based off of just liquipedia results, word-of-mouth or highlights. Also sometimes it just sometimes seems like some ppl just hijack the podcast going on some weird tangent bc they dont really have anything to add to the current discussion since they clearly haven't watched the matches being discussed. Not necessarily saying that happened in this episode specifically, it just happens sometimes and is 1 of the main reasons I've given up watching the podcast for months at a time in the past.. But I'm just 1 random fan so you probably dont give a F what I think, but I mean this as constructive criticism. If i wanted to just listen to everyone fucking around I'd watch their personal streams or something, I'm here for actual analysis of the current pro scene. The extra guests really helps with thet most of the time.. but sometimes there's just these episodes where some segments seem so scuffed. Appreciate the content really, its awesome to have a podcast that brings in so many casters and analysts, as well as coaches, ex players, etc.. but please try to keep it on track about the game in some of those time where it gets so loud and off track. Cheers
