We had two "Habitat" homes built in our neighborhood. After the first family moved in, burglary in the neighborhood went up. Then there were two separate shootings (one fatal) at the house. After those people were removed crime went down. The next people moved in, the house was raided. 62 illegal aliens were found packed into the house. The other house was dealing drugs. They were arrested and evicted. Then that house burned down. Arson was proven. So, there's that.

Yes they do. I work for Habitat and we just completed a house for a single person.

​@bobanderson1151 how? I just tried to apply and they told me single people have less of a chance than a family with needs. Even tho I don't have any debts, and I can make the monthly payments. A family will always be priority over a single person

Only way a single person can get approved is if they have a mother or father that cannot work and is a dependent.
