I remember reading a image/marvel crossover in which grifter and Nick Fury go on a mission. In the mission grifter finds the mask in a shield armoury and puts it on for the first time. I’ve been trying to find in my long box’s. I love it when they make crossovers have lasting impact, like the scar down spawns face is from a Batarang or the hole in Grendel’s skull is from Robin’s arrow.

Yes, it was something special. I was crazy for Spawn and Cyberforce back in the early days (Ripclaw and Cyblade in particular). It is sad that they failed in creating a true narrative universe, but every author was more interested in money than that.

Man... took me back with poster of Grifter with "Deathblow". Deathblow was the man, I remember issue #1 variant where is matte black and red embossed Deathblow logo. Image was doing that thing back in 90s. Everything they did was brutal, sexualized and BRUTAL. Also you forgot to explain, the significance of his trademark red mask.
