I can't understand for the life of me, why Newcastle would give Bruno a new contract and agreee to a release clause that would allow him to leave during the very next transfer window. He still had three years left on his initial contract, which didn't have a release clause! We've basically given him more money for less security. It's barmy.

Richie has at least a season or two in him at championship level, Saudi or MLS. If coaching is in his mind for the future I'm sure Eddie would happily facilitate it.
