About Lisa’s unequal pay, it was actually a law at the time where foreigners were not paid equally. I believe it was said they got paid 6 times less 😕 I believe YG tried to compensate and gave Lisa a lot of modeling things on the side, for example Nonagon (YG clothing brand) which Liza modeled for. The law has since changed and now they all get paid equally 😊

The reason Lisa is paid less is because of laws between Thailand and Korea. YG gave Lisa some of her modeling contracts and other things to make up the difference.Rosé is also a foreigner even though her parents are Korean she wasn’t born there...but yet she isn’t subject to the same “discrimination” that tells you the problem isn’t YG but the inter country laws.

I know theres a lot of YG antis but the fact is if youre an idol from YG you will be a muse or endorser for big and top class fashion brands. Other YG artist who are fashion ambassadors are G-Dragon (Bigbang) and Jennie for Chanel, Taeyang (Bigbang) for Fendi, Mino has actually walked in a runway for a fashion show in Paris, Lisa for Celine, Rose for YSL , Jisoo for Dior and Burberry, not to mention brands who collaborate them as group Adidas, Kia Cars, Samsung, Kbank and other make-up line , Mino and Winner as well for Adidas ...its already given that if youre idol from YG you get rich faster because od these endorsements and YG is synonymous to Fashion....other companies dont have this type of connection to international brands except for those who already well known like BTS of course they will get offers. My point is YG is being trusted by big brands that their idols can deliver the job needed to endorse brands. YG has this reputation but of course YG antis will always have something to complain.

The main reason was that S Korea and Thailand had to work out the paperwork for her to get paid according to the laws, but once they worked it out she got all her money! Lisa wears masks because of allergies!

The FKMP(Federation of korean music performers) collects a royalty fee, but if the member is from a different country then they can't pay until the country the performer is from signs an agreement. If the two countries don't have that agreement then it can affect the artist by it being a continuous loss. So it's not any of the companie's fault but rather the two countries not coming to an agreement. Basically FKMP is the only company of it's kind in South Korea so if the country a performer is from doesn't have a branch like it or a company similar than the money doesn't go to the performer. This is money they earn from their songs being broadcasted and stream however many times. The issue with it is that the laws about these are different in many different countries and the earnings are delt with differently, which is why, if the countries don't agree, then the performer is affected the most. All the statements in the video are true especially the pay issue with foreigners working in Korea which I think has now been changed. Lisa, by being globally popular has brought her a lot sadness because of hatred brought on by the other members fans mainly from Korea. Lisa is not the only foreigner in Korea to be mentally abused in this way it certainly is an eye opener not being from an Asian country with the possessiveness of these fans for there idols. When the hatred remarks against Lisa became out of control and more aware Globally people began gathering to protect her in some way one being Bam Bam speaking on behalf of Lisa to the Thai people on a visit to reassure them. YGE has never addressed this issue publicly that still continues from the last CEO to the new one for Lisa or should I say any of their Artists which is disgraceful when this is their job. Si, Lisa era a quien le pagaban menos por ser extranjera en Blackpink, pero hubo otra idol de Tailandia en un grupo y compañía diferente que luchó para cambiar esa normativa y lo logró y ahora gracias a ella, todos los idols extranjeros ganan la misma cantidad que un idol Coreano. She has had been cheated by her manager who stole her money worth 1 billion won for his gambling debts. He could do that because she was here in Korea alone without her folks. But still she was targeted for being a total non Korean . They fail to understand that she is the high Popularity earner for the group..
