While both parties do indoctrinate their bases for the sake of defending a poorly thought out form of Capitalism, the Republicans make it far more obvious what dark beliefs they're feeding their base. It takes a local to know that in Georgia in 1974, Milledgeville (MTG's hometown) was slang for mental illness and/or retardation. Milledgeville was known primarily as the home of the state's largest mental asylum. It is totally appropriate that our craziest congressional representative came from Milledgeville. By the way, the facility is now much smaller and the city is currently known as the home of Georgia's designated public liberal arts university, Georgia College and State University.
