Time to remember everything now sounds like in Ramayan when the cheeranjeevi Jamwant reminds Hanuman of his powers..so this might very well be loosely based on the character of Hanuman..but to avoid falling prey to conflicts and drama they said White Monkey..there is Ravan..there is Hanuman..Shobhita Dhulipala could be a reference to Sita..joki Raavan k lanka mein fasi hai..Sikandar could be Meghnad or the army chief of Raavan..waiting for Ram and Laxman..Sugreev and Bali..

I think the villain called dev patel son because he actually is his father who might have done some harm to Dev's mother which led to village slaughter to fuel dev's revenge and that astray looked like flower petal design to me and there were similar gaps everywhere so, I guess it wasn't broken. If you see the hindi trailer there are few more details visible there. For instance the Guy getting on fire scene.. Also there's an elevator fight shown where Dev's character stabs the knife into his neck by his mouth which isn't in the original scene
