Who is not required to Link PAN Aadhar ft

In case a non-indian citizen but OCI card holder has an Adhaar Card and also has NRO account set up using PAN card. Will it be an issue for him/her to file tax return on TDS deducted on NRO interest income incase the Adhaar is not linked with PAN? Will the PAN card be deactivated?

Sir, But as per Notification No:- 37/2017 :- the central government hereby notifies that the provisions of section 139AA shall not apply to an individual who does not possess the Aadhaar Number or Enrollment ID AND is :- i) residing in the States of Assam, Jammu and Kashmir and Meghalaya; ii) a non resident as per Income Tax Act, 1961; iii) of the age of eighty years or more at any time during the previous year; iv) not a citizen of India. Which means both the condition to be satisfied i.e an individual who does not possess aadhaar number or Enrollment ID. AND. Individuals mentioned in points (i) to (iv).
