id bet that spot is for amad... dorgu and amad as WB would be the best combo out wide, both good defensively..can go in and out, have good pace and technical dribbling ability. the 10s are where we have an issue. zirkzee could come in and help rasmus with hold up play, allowing him to run the channels as I believe those are his strengths not fighting with CBs, and also give bruno another creative option.. he also seems to work well with amad as they link up nicely on the right side. we'd need an extra striker coming off the bench but I think those 3 up front with dorgu and amad as WBs would be our best options.

Luton's Alfie Doughty(25) is available for £15M. More experienced. Phenomenal crosser. Soild workrate, dribbling and pace. Got 10 goal involvements in his debut season in the Prem playing for a struggling team. His volume of crosses were ridiculous at 340. He's also shown to be a decent set piece taker. So let me break this down. United need's a soild established LWB. We don't get nearly enough crosses into the box. We don't create enough chances. And we are terrible at set pieces. But the good news is we could remedy that with £15M signing. Bad news we won't sign or even be linked to a player from the championship. Because that's deemed not glamorous enough. Even when there is a clear bargin that would likely improve us.

Hundreds of players are brought to the Serie A and elsewhere from lower leagues and don't make it. Trying to get that 1% that do without first seeing them perform at a higher league level with actual senior minutes is not a good strategy for a club of United's size.

I feel like we already have enough for the future LBs with Amass and now Leon coming in. We need someone who’s ready and can step into the role RIGHT NOW like a Davies, Hernandez, Kerkez, or Mendes. We can’t have an entire 11 of young potential players. We also need players ready to step in right now who aren’t as raw as Dorgu. Just my opinion tho

I like the profile, age, physicality, close control/technique. Seems like a good sort of signing for the type we are trying to find, young, hungry, up and coming players. It's also an area where we really do need someone, so I hope they can get this done soon for a fair price.

These are the profiles we used to buy! These are players thats exceed compaired to the players their playing with. A good example is Jaap Stam, Nemanja Vidic and Patrice Evra. All players that played for ok teams, but that was down to their contributions on the team. Dorgu is such a player and we should get him for 10-15£ mil. We should get the best players and best prospects out there to our club. Were not what we used to be and a great example is Declan Rice and Harry Kane going to Arsenal and Bayern Munich.

People seem to forget we had a spanish Leftback Alvaro Carreras from our academy that we loaned out to Benfica last season then sold this season for £5m and has been starting regularly for them. We didn't give him a chance and now we're without a Leftback while buying a Paraguayan 17 year old who no doubt with our track record won't be given a chance and flourish somewhere else. It's like clockwork for this club in the last 12 years.

Shaw is a total crock and even when he does play a couple of games before going back to the treatment room, his profile is left back, not attacking left wing back. Malacia is not good enough as a starting wing back for any side that has aspirations of success. Amass is still developing and should be used sporadically so that he develops in time and without ego. You are right though, we can't just rush the wrong player in and it might be best to wait untill the summer to get the right signing.

Patrick Dorgu would be a massive help to Alejandro Garnacho, Dorgu likes to cut inside a bit as well as go down the wing, his speed on the inside would provide Garnacho with the ability to run down the left wing and get crossed in. The same is needed on the RWB. Nene Dorgeles at RWB would allow for a lightning quick overlap for Amad on the inside.

Now that we're playing with 3-4-2-1/3-4-3, i belive this is the perfect time to get a very cheaper option instead of the big names, one player i belive is suitable for amorims system is Alfie Doughty (Luton town) worth £10-15Mright now, last season he got 10 assists as a wingback his defensive contributions are solid as well, same way Liverpool bought Andy Robertson for £8M and proved to be worth every little penny, but united think only big name players are worth it 😢
