Welcome to the Ren Community. For me your Reaction checked ALL the boxes. I have watched this with over 300 reactors. You do not disappoint! Never worry a Ren video will be too long for the Renegade Community. Some of us just last week or so spent over 3hrs with a reactor of Ren. We enjoy this being a Reactor's first Ren video. Renegades are here to support you as well as enjoy you. With there being over a Million of us, remember dont try to please us by changing how your reactions are done. That route leads to extra chaos for you. Renegades will pester your for More Ren, but we will also Wait for more Ren. Do not fear being open with us. Yes a few may express negative things, but on the whole those who gather to you will "catch you if you fall". There are many Hard songs, and overwhelming songs, but there are also songs of happiness and joy and light heartedness. Renegades will come to listen to Reactions of songs he did at age 19 with the band "Trick the Fox". We will come to songs he created from his sick and dying bed (most of his bedridden 20's), we will come for him busking, doing covers, and mashups and originals with the band "The Big Push" (all in that band have their own independent music csreers and we will come to reactions of their music). In January of 2023 Ren began serious treatment for years of undiagnosed Lyme Disease, mental and physical damage). Returning mid 2024, and has relapsed and returned to treatment in Canada at the end of October. He is still creating and dropping New music. In 2023 his Sick Boi Album took high placement in many billboards. In the UK he took Number 1. Not bad for and independent! (No label). Now he is dropping new album songs for "Slaughter House" And some things for a show he hopes to intrest Netflix about. So read your comments for song suggestions or just close your eyes and pluck a song from the grabbag. Ren by the way is Welsh, but has lived for years in Brighton, England. Bukleup and enjoy the Ride.

Welcome to the rabbit hole. The Renegade family is very passionate and will have your back. We LOVE watching reaction videos of Ren because we get to relive the experience over and over. You can't prepare yourself. Every song, you will respond with "I didn't expect that." He does just about every genre. Often in one song. He sings, raps, plays the piano, guitar, produces, directs videos. Some of my favorite songs to "get you started" and give you an idea of range. Blind Eye featuring the angry car park attendant, Power, Loosing it, Chalk Outlines, Back on 76, Uninvited...and of course the trilogies The tale of Jenny and Screetch and Money Games. Sick Boi and his latest Slaughterhouse. I could go on...and on... You will hear that there is life before Ren and life after Ren. Enjoy the ride.

I just saw your Hi Ren reaction, and put this journal entry of Ren's as my comment to that reaction. ~~~~~~jAN 01, 202~~rEN~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Up until I was 9 years old, I would intermittently hear a voice in my head that was not my own. The voice was distinctly different to mine, and always negative. It would self criticize or urge me to do things I knew to be morally wrong. The most peculiar thing about the voice was that it took no effort on my behalf to produce. My own thoughts always felt like there was a process that required effort to bring them to the forefront of my mind, this voice appeared as though it was spoken by another. The sentences felt predetermined like they had already been constructed. I remember very vividly at 9 years old, becoming very frustrated with the voice. I stood in my back yard, internally screaming at the voice to be silent again and again, and it did. In a flash there was silence, to the point where my head felt like an empty room. I wasn't used to the quiet and that voice never returned. It almost felt lonely in my head. When I got older I had intermittent bouts with auditory hallucinations where I would hear perfect symphonies, usually at night when drifting off to sleep. They were so clear that they sounded like they were emanating from a radio in the corner of my room. I knew they weren't there, but for some reason they never came with the feeling of fear. I also recall sitting on a bus at the age of 15, and hearing the sound of a crowded room, with about 100 voices chattering away, I was the only person apart from the driver on the bus. These experiences were always very brief, and few and far between. My last hallucination was during an intense bout of psychosis in 2015, and was my first visual hallucination. I was walking down a pavement after jumping out my mums car in a crossroads in a moment of frustration and distress with my condition. I was trying to run from myself. What appeared to be a homeless man with a dark complexion approached me, and asked me what was wrong. I explained that I had been sick most my life, and I wasn't sure I had the strength to continue. He looked at me, and smiled and told me 'everything is going to be okay in the end Ren.' I had not told him my name. There was something so overpoweringly sincere about this very simple message, which brought with it an overwhelming feeling of inner peace, and in a flash, he vanished. My rational brain always linked these experiences to what the doctors have told me, that there are parts of my brain compromised by the autoimmunity in my body. That the myelin sheaths surrounding the complex electrical system that conduct my thoughts were damaged and compromised, causing these lucid experiences that I knew did not exist inside the physical world. The part of me that edges away from logical and rational thought always attributed these thoughts to some kind of otherworldly intervention, that made my thoughts the battleground of some spiritual tug of war. For a long time I never really acknowledged this part of myself, for with it brought the danger and stigma of sounding like a crazy person. I decided with my latest release, to the best of my ability, to capture and express this chess match of thought. Hi Ren comes out in just over 24 hours. I can't wait for you all to hear it.

A lot of the music Ren does are songs he wished he had when he was going through the hell of mis-diagnosed Lyme Disease and it's co-infection bartenella. A quick one page questionnaire by a mental health professional put him on the road to 8 years of psychotic drugs for hyper cycling bipolar and ME. When Ren says, "I have stood in the flames that cremated my brain," he is speaking from the experience of undiagnosed Lyme and what it was doing to his brain. The brushing off of Ren's symptoms by both types of doctors during this time has set the tone for a lot of Ren's songs. Being the voice for others that he wished he had had during this time. Hi Ren is always the first one we suggest someone new watch. I would suggest his One Million Followers video. It will tell you a lot about the man. His music runs the gamut of genres. It can make you think, cry, laugh,.... He was part of a band called The Big Push that amicably went their separate ways around the time Ren moved from Brighton UK to Calgary, Canada, for treatment of Lyme. They have a lot of videos of them busking (street performing), which Ren meticulously mixed. I enjoyed your reaction and plan to see more.

First, Ren's is one fanbase that are used to long reaction videos 😅 He makes people think. Okay, the captions are never right for Ren... but that's a whole new level of wrong 😂 Ren actually isn't especially religious, either, though he does love religious iconography. You're exactly right. Ren has a very loyal fanbase because he makes people feel seen. Especially those with chronic illnesses and mental illnesses. Hi Ren is most people's first Ren experience, to be honest. Just know that you will never be able to predict what you get with Ren. The Tales, which you said were probably coming next, are the closest Ren has to this one in style. I mean, the same year he shot this video, he also did a rap rap over an EDM beat and was a member of an equally eclectic heavily ska-influenced band. Ren plays multiple instruments, sings in multiple genres and does multiple forms of rap. He also usually produces, mixes and masters his own songs (exceptions to all of those), directs and edits his own music videos and handles his own social media most of the time. He's fully independent and his team is made up of a number of friends who helped him for free until he had the money to pay them after Hi Ren went viral at the end of 2022. He's also chronically ill (hence the social media "most of the time", when he's out of commission his friends keep his accounts active), and is right now struggling with a relapse in his health. He writes, records and shoots videos when he's able and saves them up to slowly release over the periods he is unable to. Also, since I don't think anyone said... he's from the UK. He's Welsh, but lives in Brighton (England) though he spent 2023 and part of 2024 in Canada getting specialized treatment that unfortunately failed. Despite all that, in 2023 he was the first independent artist to get a #1 album in the UK, all without being able to tour or do traditional PR and he's since turned down every major label. He credits reactors with a lot of his recent success. Also, I know Webby has been reactor friendly, but it was Ren who convinced him to go the next step and let reactors monetize 😉 Hope you do continue with him and enjoy him as much as we do!

I always laugh when I see the Iraq War caption. Ren had some money games he was doing prior to the release of the Sick Boi album. There were riddles and clues to try to figure out and they were based around the seven sins. We were all scrambling to win. To see some of the action, search Rika Shae Money Games. The Tony Blair caption was a plant from Ren. A "clue" in his online Money Game leading up to the release of his #1 album in the UK Sick Boi! 😂😂😂 Did you catch the 42 million views in 2 years? Through his iwn perseverance finally diagnosed and was gifted a experimental stem cell treatment that imprived things for him. Your pretty funny. "Maybe i shouldnt have started with this song." 😂this is the one that 90% of people started with. If its because this is pure absolute genius and your wondering maybe this is too strong well get used to his talent cause EVERY SINGLE SONG from his first to his most recent including his 2 bands and many collabs he does nothing but genius. Some are going to be more hard hitting or you can relate to more but all are the best of the best. I say the 5th song of my favorite ren songs is ren cause aside from my top 4 that song can change dependi g on which one im listening to. Enjoy the rabbit hole. If you so choose to jump. Fyi theres a channel most dont know about with about 18 to 20 ren songs. Its called ren unreleased.

The standard order is Hi Ren first, Then maybe Sick Boi, Chalk Outlines, The Tale of Jenny and Screech (13 minutes version) or the money game series. So you have done well, you have to understand Ren is an artist... not a rapper, he does most genres equally well. He has a huge dedicated fanbase (Renegades) that spreads love, not hate. If you go down the Rabbot hole of Ren you will be surprised and people will sub. Just be aware, many reactors become Renegades. IN the world of GOATS, he is a unicorn. You just have not heard of him because he is independant. But he has be so very sick for so very long. so does use music for his pain. If you like cadences, a good intro to his many rapping songs is The Hunger, not a pain song at all. BTW... He has collabed with Webby.... Baggage.... Its a banger with a fantastic Vid. Webby Singin
