Thank you for this video Father. I am currently in OCIA and I have chosen St Francis De Sales as my spiritual guide and confirmation saint. He is everything that I aspire to be as a person. I have just began reading his book, Introuduction to the Devout Life, and I can already see through his writing how kind and gentle he was as a person.

Many thanks John and apologies. Yes, died in Lyon but buried in Annecy. Was his heart buried in Lyon originally?

@@brendankilcoyne282 Greetings, I think you're right Father, I read that Nuns transferred his heart out of Lyon during the French revolution, I remember visiting a Church in Annecy years ago and they had there his remains and those of his great friend St Jeanne de Chantal. Great inspiration, even for us today in these complicated times we're in. Take care and thanks again.
