Willie Nelson!!!! I grew up in Evergreen. He used to buy me apricot fruit roll ups when I'd see him at King Soopers. I thought he was just another one of my parent's friends. When I'd see him, I would scream "Billy" and run to say hi. I seriously wonder if he remembers the little girl he used to buy fruit roll ups for? Or were there a lot of us? I know this is hard to believe, but I promise it's true. He used to keep a guitar at the local bar (The Little Bear) & would come in on a random Tuesday to play a few songs. ❤

I’m not surprised at all that these kids didn’t mention legends like Hank, Patsy C, Marty, Patsy M, ET etc. You can’t hardly find their music on the radio anymore. RIP real country music.
