I think you underestimate how physically taxing a full routine is and how much preparation it takes... You're basically asking them to prepare for competition for a video. Don't forget Ash and Nile are retired and injured, and Luke stopped doing gymnastics in his teens so I don't think this is a realistic ask.

I do not understand the beam results…technically Luke did every skill Ash did (multiple times)…he just did not add a new skill. It would have made more sense if Ash did it again and added a new skill Luke could not do.
