Me being a casual PAD player its very hard for me to understand a lot of things. That being said, is having mitigation makes units that great as a leader?

For older dungeons yes, you can most likely get away with only having leaders with damage mitigation. For the newer Unknow Nova dungeons, you will either need a mix of mitigation and HP multipliers or a damage reduction active if you only have damage mitigation leaders.

Would you ever do individual pad unit reviews? There’s a dokkan youtuber, BHdev who covers old and new units and covers them from when the unit first dropped, how good they were in their respective meta, and how they usually fell off or if they still are relevant

Idk about Dokkan and how often they release units, but I think for PAD a lot of units are released/buffed every collab/event and most of them are not that meta. I have done tierlists where I looked at every unit(eg spy x family and jojo) and each were 2+ hr streams that would be a pain to edit and would still be around 2 hrs lol. I do plan on making more unit review videos on "meta" units, and pad island/SF wouldn't qualify in my book but maybe I should at least try to upload something quick on every collab/event.

So true. Missing 9747 Exia Gundam (and the gundam collab as a whole) severely grimmed team building for Remdra trio. There is NO replacement for Exia, with inherent Wood typing（very important！）, short CD RCV + Movement time debuff removal, burst and a 3-turn haste upon transformation（it greatly helps the 2nd transformation of Remdra trio）. And no, 10036 Kaman Rider Decade is not an answer to being the Exia replacement, not even close. Besides, 9751 ガンダム・バルバトスルプス is another card that could deal with those board with tons of stupid roulettes + 2 turns dmg absorption shield piercing on a 5CD! God, why can't US Gungho just improvise a "Recolor" of the Gundam and One Piece collab like what they did with the Marvel one, if copy right is such a great deal. I don't even mind cards with no pictures or names, but just the same abilities.

@@guamuchill There are tons of dark or light rainbow team subs/leaders, but the wood type is definitely lacking (more so when taking the dragon/machine restriction into account). And Odin dragon could not replace Amaterasu Dragon with no substantial healing orb enhancement awakening 🥲

Man these days it is really hard ro even build a team. I have been playing this game for years now and i know i have fantastic units. It is always just deciding what to use. I also have this unit that you mentioned. We need more P&D content creators to help with team building.

People like @BiraPAD and @sgt502 often upload dungeon clears and they share their builds in their videos, so check them out in case you haven't. They for sure have Kurotobi teams. I am working on a video for the next "best" leader, Muichiro from Demon Slayer, I'll be sure to try to include more team examples and alternatives in that next video!

Yes, its very overwhelming sometimes to keep track of all your monsters. It sucks that gungho keeps shutting down apps that help with that, like paddb. There's PDC that's still available but its in Japanese so it takes a while to learn how to use it w/o knowing the language

What should I do with a 2nd copy of Kurotobi? Should I turn him into assist? Or keep both in the team? If keeping both in the team, which of the five popular subs you showed in the video should I replace? Thanks!

Hopefully you also have a grannerv. The general(cookie cutter) team is grannerv/looping shield(sekka)/cleric(vione)/pierce active unit(yukine)/kuro/helper kuro. Honestly kuros equip isnt all that good, i also have 2 and i rather self pair so I can put whatever eq I want on him. If you dont have grannerv then you would use both your kuros in a team and pair up with a grannerv friend.

Personally, I have Sonia Fio and Sonia Clea as my team leader/helper. With them, Matching wood, dark and water in the same turn is free 9 combos and 144x attack

Nowadays you need follow-up damage from your leaders, and the bonus combos are also higher on other leaders. Maybe you have better 3+ attributes match leaders, 144x attack is not much for annihilation dungeons and not to mention super gravity ones.

That's a great sign! If you are cruising with only 5 seconds of move time and managing skill timings, you'll be doing great in endgame dungeons with modern teams.

So far yeah, NY Wadatsumi is the only leader that works with Muichiro at the moment in JP. You could do Muichiro x Muichiro but you'd struggle a bit with combo shields
