I believe you missed a comment of mine on the Dodgers video. I had said Koufax was one of the best Brooklyn Dodger players, but only played 3 short seasons with them. 😮

Id go best Brooklyn dodger then to be Jackie rob over Snider. Drysdale only pitched two seasons in Brooklyn.
@robertanderson28985 күн бұрын
@@teachertalkingsports Yeah Jackie is a great choice, but I'm sticking with Snider. Zack Wheat is not mentioned enough. Speaking of Twins, did you know former Twin Joey Gallo has 99 career Homers in seasons where he batted under .200? He hasn't cracked that mark since 2019! In 2016 he hit .040 with a Homer, lol. Kyle Schwarber and Mark Reynolds are next in line with 58 Homers each. Chris Davis has 55 and Mike Zunino 54.

@ that’s a pretty crazy stat! Surprised Rob Deer isn’t up there. Realized I skipped the Athletics, no city name anymore. Oh well, I’m calling them the Oakland Athletics.
@robertanderson28985 күн бұрын
@@teachertalkingsports Deer's kinda up there, he's got 40! Martin Maldonado has 50. Heh, there's a Jeff Mathis who had 8 sub-.200 seasons totaling 29 bombs. Well better late than never..... Yeah after all that time as Oakland, and it's gone.
@teachertalkingsports5 күн бұрын
@ Mathis with marlins was a guaranteed out. Still better than almost any catcher we’ve had minus Charles Johnson and one year of Pudge.

Walter Johnson definitely for the Senators. Also Sam Rice and Goose Goslin for mentions. For the actual Twins, there are many. Killebrew, Puckett, Carew, Mauer, Oliva, Hrbek....... Overall I'd still agree with Johnson though, how can you not!

Big Train! Crazy how nicknames seem to be better a century ago than they are today.

If it's just Minnesota.. Killebrew, Carew or Puckett If you're also counting their time in DC... Nobody comes close to Walter Johnson
@teachertalkingsportsКүн бұрын
Yup, without question! I give the oh so slight edge to Carew for Minnesota.
