The first boot of season 2 is already known. Not gonna spoil who it is, but just saying, though. I feel like Ripper might indeed make it far (judging by how TD creators love to rely on fart humor), but I don't see him as winner potential. I can definitely see the winner potential in characters like Axel (easy to redeem and show her worth), Nichelle (NEEDS redemption and should be easy to redeem), Damien (now that he wants to compete and he's liked by everyone, he's unstoppable!), and MK (she has the potential to be the main antagonist this time).

My ranking (as of right now) 16th - Chase He was simply such a disappointment. I really thought he'd be one of the good ones from when i first saw the cast sheet. But no, he's a influencer based on all the worst ones. His relationship with Emma was just a disaster too. 15 - Ripper He's just child humour and in a show for teens it feels like the silly dramarama episode all over again. I think he was definitely poorly written and i don't understand why he lasted soo long. 14 - Axel Another one that disappointed me. She could have been a great character but they made her into a Eva/Jo that isn't able to work with anyone. It just didn't feel that new. 13 - Caleb There's literally nothing to say about him. He's a first boot, but doesn't actually do anything to warrant being one. 12 - Hezakias "Zee" I couldn't connect with him tbh. I can understand why people like him, but i can't. Sorry 11 - Emma Emma is funny at times but the relationship story is just what ruins it for me. Though her dancing is cool. 10 - Nichelle Her arc was okay but it's not really enough to make me enjoy her as much as others. 9 - Millie She used to be higher up but i feel she was only there to be a second Cody and for Priya's sake. And it definitely felt rushed towards the end with the whole notebook scene 8 - Mary Kate Mary Kate did well, she's definitely an interesting one but i think she did herself a disservice coming into the second series as i think people will be more weary of her. 7 - Priya She's a deserving winner, yes but she's like Sky, you knew it was going to happen and that's what i hate the most. It's quite disappointing that she won, not because she's a bad person but her parents kinda just raised her to be because they couldn't in a way. If she came third it would have been so much more of a twist. 6 - Damian Damian is good he's excellent really, just prefer everyone else more tbh. 5 - Lauren Lauren is great too, i knew i was going to love her and I'm glad i do as much as i do. I love her interractions and i think we got the right amount of her. 4 - Rajesh "Rajie" Raj is funny and i like his relationship with Bowie. He's stupid but it's in a really endearing way. 3 - Wayne Wayne is great, i love his interactions with everyone and i prefer him over Raj as he definitely feels more of a main, especially from the cabbage pirates fight. 2 - Bowie I loved that he wasn't so much of a stereotype. He had a great personality, many fun lines and had great interactions with everyone he was with. His villainy felt so real compared to previous ones (especially Mal and Scarlett (though Scarlett is another fave of mine). 1 - Julia Sype (her voice actress is also called Julie) Julia is definitely a great character and i like how it twists a character like Dawn into a character like Laurie or even Blaineley extremely well. I like how she always felt like an actual teen-ager and like a real villian should. Like many others she bounces off everyone like MK and Bowie really well.

Potential winners for season 2: Damien, Nichelle, Ripper, Wayne, Raj. A lot of people are saying they think it could be Axel or MK, but considering how they were in season 1, I can’t see them winning and being super happy that they won. No doubt they’ll both make it further than last time. Priya could go either way, I can see her getting far again, but can also see her getting out pre-merge (same applies to Bowie, Zee, Caleb and Julia). Millie will probably get out early. Scary Girl just isn’t the type to win a season. I don’t see Emma or Chase lasting that long this time because I don’t see anywhere their story will go afterwards.

I like Priya a lot so I'm not going to say that you're wrong for putting her through the first round, but you're definitely sleeping on Emma. She's at her funniest when Chase is not even in the picture. In fact, I think Chase might make her a little less enjoyable. Justice for Emma

While watching this season, I decided to rank the cast at the end of each episode, then rewatch the season about a month later and do a final rank. Looking back at the ranking, the only consistents throughout the entire season were that Scary Girl was my favourite character, Bowie was second, and Ripper was my least favourite. My new ranking comparing my first time watching it, to the second time (where I pay much closer attention) the only difference is that Emma went from 5th to 8th. My top 5 are: Scary Girl, Bowie, Zee, Raj and Wayne. Emma used to be there, but after my rewatch, I realized how closely her character relies on Chase. And how dependent she is on him. (I really hope we focus more on her friendship with Bowie, as apposed to her toxic relationship with Chase, next season.) What's impressive is my 2 least favourite characters, both made it past the merge; Chase and Ripper (you can guess what my biggest gripe with this season is). Interestingly, my 5 least favourite characters were the same from start to finish, except Damien who was my 5th least favourite in Ep1, but quickly became more interesting by Ep2, now Caleb is in the bottom 5. Chase is the only character on my ranking who raised in rank through the season, but ultimately ended up lower on the rank than where he started. I remember liking MK more, but she was only my 3rd favourite in Ep1, and ended at 8th by the end (now at 7 since Emma dropped)
