Better 'overall' player is easy to find, Itoshi Sae is a Mid-Fielder, the players who HAVE to be better overall. He also possesses the qualities of a good striker, Kaiser is a main striker, who only need to have the game to make shots. In a battle of overall, Sae has him beat, in a match with equal teams, Kaiser could probably edge it out with the Kaiser Impact. If Isagi was able to get past Sae in the final moments, Kaiser could do the same, especially with the Kaiser impact. Therefore I believe with their respective team, Kaiser is better.

It's not a far stretch to say Sae plays with a style of 'Calculation' and Kaiser plays with one of 'Execution'. The only way to really compare them is too see how they would do if they swapped positions, where Kaiser has the vision but not the passing ability to be a midfielder. Whereas as shown in the U20 match Sae was able to score goals more efficiently then the strikers of the U20 Japan team. I love both of the characters but based on this Sae may be the better player here. Feel free to give your thoughts or whatever.

i think something you forgot to say is how itoshi sae evolves his teammates on the field, it was said from Aiku and Shidou that Sae was bringing them to the next level which in my opinion shakes up the arguement a lot, ik Sae already won but when finding the better overall playing i think this wouldnt played a big part in saying why Sae is better overall, and the fact that he can act as a midfielder and striker at the same time would make it really clear why hes the better player

Late comment, however in overall terms Sae takes it. He shown literally defense, offense and team play, he stated that he could have shotten three times during the first half against blue lock but decided to stay his role as a midfielder. Kaiser on the other hand needs Ness or someone to pass to him for him to use Kaiser Impact. Overall goes to Sae Striker goes to Kaiser Dk why the other comments saying kaiser is better when the topic is Overall better player 😭

Kaiser is a better striker while Sae is a better overall footballer I do think if we ever saw Saes stats it would look something like this: Speed : 85 Offense : 92 Shoot : 92 Dribbling : 95 Passing : 96 Defense : 80 Overall : 96 (My own interpretation of his stats btw he will probably be a point lower than Kaiser because blue lock priorities Strikers rather than other positions but you can see that he has a more even or balanced card as compared to Kaiser who has maxed out striker stats)

Before shido got on the field we saw how say controled the field and was the driving force pushing japan up the field. Isagi has the best Metavision in the series, but that’s not the reason why Kaiser fell for the trap, the reason he fell for it is not because of Isagi but Noa lmao. Isagi literally needed the #1 player to stop Kaiser from winning against him. Again losing to Chris Prince isn’t a bad thing, we’re in a series where pushing yourself and testing your limits using your ego is a literally central concept used and you’re trying to act like it’s a bad thing? Even though he didn’t even necessarily lose to Prince, it was a loose ball that was going to end up in Isagi or Noa’s hands. It’s not like Prince took the ball from him, he literally just kept up and threw him off because obviously when the most physically imposing striker on the world bumps you you’re not gonna be able to move at your 100% best. Him showing he’s almost on par with these world class strikers is literally above whatever Sae has shown. Kaiser is playing nearly on the level of genuine stars while Sae isn’t even in the main team of his league, he’s in the youth squad.

I wanted to post this as an answer to the "Kaiser is NOT better than Sae" post. I got a little bit angry, because I think the story is pretty clear on what it tells is, but everyone can come to their own conclusions I guess. Every single think in the post mentioned above are just your opinion. Rabbit acts like they are facts. The facts are actually as follows: They are both U20 World 11 so they are relatively close in skill. Kaiser is a Striker and Sae is a midfielder. Saes original dream was to make it as the best striker. Kaisers dream is to make it as the best striker. Sae gave up on his dream and is now trying to become the best midfielder. This is a quote from Sae: "Turns out the World is huge. There're players way better than me out there... I've changed my dream. Instead of becoming the best striker I will become the best midfielder in the world." Sounds like he gave up because there where striker better than him. So Sae actually made it as a midfielder and is one of the best, if not actually the best midfielder in his age group. Kaiser on the other hand actually made it as a striker and is one of the best, if not actually the best striker in his age group. Kaiser has a weapom, even the World's Best striker acknowledges. Quote Noa: "That right foot kick of his, that is es all of his body to execute... He's the fastest in the world when it comes to the swing. That is the one thing in which he has me beat." No one ever said something remotely similar about Sae. Ok there are two conclusions you can gather from These facts: Kaiser is better than Sae. They had the same dream. Kaiser is on a good path that ensures he reaches that dream and Sae gave up on it, because he realized there where people better than him. Seems clear cut to me. Kaiser just has a bigger Ego than Sae. Maybe Sae could've made it as a striker. But fact is: He gave up. The series makes it pretty clear that you can't be a good striker without a large Ego. So this one comes to a similar conclusions than the first option: Sae's Ego is to weak to make it as a striker, which in Blue Lock terms means: Kaiser is better than Sae. It's actually not that hard to understand. Later in the story Sae might play against Kaiser and maybe he beats him. I am fine with that, because as I said in the beginning: They are relatively close in skill. But till that happens the Story simply tells us that Kaiser ist better.

In my opinion Sae had a lot minus time on screen but impressed a lot more than Kaiser. come on guys all the moment you see Sae playing did you ever se him struggle on the pitch, like him beeing upset or like gave the best he could? @@AllanRinneganKaiser isn’t struggling like you think indicated by the fact that, like Sae in the U20, he hasn’t sweated even once during the matches he was in. Isagi outplaying him is cool and all but he needed Noa to do so. Without Noa, Isagi himself realized that he didn’t have any route to the goal, and when he tried the first time, Kaiser was the one that stopped it. I’m not saying Kaiser is better, I’m just saying that context matters.

@@AllanRinnegan that is true, but it still doesn’t change the fact that both Sae and Kaiser in their respective matches never really played seriously with the only times being when they face actual good opponents (flow Rin for Sae/Meta Isagi and Prince for Kaiser). I personally think that Kaiser is better simply because he’s an up-and-coming top class striker while Sae decided to give up his dream of being a striker, but until we see those two actually give their all in a match, we can’t know for sure and just make educated guesses.

lets get some facts lay out here. Sae gave up on being the world's best striker because he witnessed world caliber players during his time in spain. Kaiser is what Sae originally aimed for, therefore its safe to say that Kaiser is the superior striker. Striker does not mean better player, it just means that he is better at scoring. Soccer is a 11 players team sport, midfielders are just as important as defenders and goaler. As of the current chapter, we haven't seen any impressive passing techniques or 1v1 techniques from Kaiser. We can assume that Sae is the bettter overall player as of chap 201. But i say that they are evenly matched in their own rights. I want to see the remaining Generation 11. maybe they will be the final boss vs our Bluelock boys. Edit: Kaiser is hot as fuck, personally my fav character in the neo league arc

For Kaiser impact, its not a volley. Its the swing speed of his leg when he goes for a shot. That's why the shot is "so fast" because its leaving his feet almost immediately and also why its "unstoppable"

I think the main issue with the comparison here is that (if im not mistaken) one is supposed to be bastard muichen nº 10 and the other is just a sub 20 real madrid academy player. Weve seen much more from sae than from kaiser due to him being japanese and the main antagonist till now. If Saes team hasnt changed yet, theres no logical way to compare kaiser with him. Having said that, sae as a antagonist is much much more likeable and i would put him above kaiser in my fav character rankign

which is why its going to be interesting to see how he develops his physicality and see how far he can take adaptability. It is implied he's going to specializing in shutting down plays and chemical reactions and Isagi only really becomes a threat in the late game after having collected enough info and data to work with and once he pieces a last minute solution surprise, he always comes out clutch. After all, his adaptive style tends to rely on a dangerous all or nothing late game whereas those like Rin, Kaiser, and Sae are more early based pressure. But Isagi may specialize in seeing past everyone's plans and methods as Sae has acknowledged his potential instead of Rin's and even Kaiser was thrown off guard. In a way, Isagi has the late game unpredictability and tactics combined with meta vision. Those are his strengths with the only thing left he really needs to work on is his physical limitations. Its hard to balance mental and physical so him playing for a strong late game and decent mid to late game would realistically be his best bread and butter playstyle. One cannot really adapt if theres not a problem presented with so Isagi really will always have that weaker early game. Its also probably why him and Bachira have such chemistry as Bachira can yolo dribble past everyone and get a lead with incredible ball control while Isagi has better foresight, offense and general tactical prowess of the game. Now it sorta makes sense to why he chose the team of Logic and why Noa wants him to formulate and explain this thoughts. Its his best weapon

I am one of the few that still thinks kaiser is better. I think he's better at scoring and off ball movement which are very important and end up in many goals. Itoshi sae can obviously pass better and dribble better, but those skills aren't used by a striker. In a team where you have very specific strikers, sae can help them score even more while scoring himself, but in most cases I would prefer having kaiser that can score many goals alone without help. Also in field vision they are equally incredible, but kaiser, as isagi, has incredible predictions. Sae reacts doesn't predict which could be sufficient in some cases but not always. Everyone can have different opinions. Love to all you blue lock fans❤️.

Yes, he is more versatile, but he doesn’t have what he takes to change results with his own hands, one can say he’s a failed egoist, kaiser impact is a unique skill nobody really has, his overall physical abilities are better then Sae’s, he has what he takes to get to the spot to score goals, meanwhile Sae’s support role is more predictable I think, like his passing course, Isagi and Rin were able to counter it at some point, while the passing is impressive, it’s still a pass, if the striker is shut down I doubt Sae against world level players can do as well as Kaiser
