So many people have said it that Wasiu Ayinde is a proud and arrogant person and this is a testament to that allegation,even at all he knows the history the fact that it involves the elders he is not supposed to dabble into it at all and as God will have it some of these elders that he mentioned to back up his untrue stories are still alive today to debunk it.This is why so many years ago Oscar slapped him in Ibadan at the D Rovans Hotel in Ring Road,I still remember. I don't know what exactly he is trying to achieve by telling stories that is more than his mouth,the elders says that tomode ba laso bi agba kole lakisa bi agba. Wasiu Ayinde should try as mush as he can to learn humility. Problem with some people is that when they start making it in life, they will want to rewrite history, change history and get it twisted for their selfish interest and such is Wasiu Ayinde or Wasiu Isola, I don't even know which one is his name.

K1 has established the fact in his record "Flavours" long before SAB died. A fact will remain a fact. The genre has a history, and SAB sang that same genre of music. Was he the one that started singing it? We cannot kill the truth just because someone was our master or boss. SAB confirmed him as Fuji King before he died, even after he had released the record "Flavours", and a king of any establishment has the wherewithal to talk about the history of his establishment. A king would not say his father or boss created something and distort history just because he's his biological father or was the heir while he was alive.

I disagree wt u in the sense dat we should all be praising Wasiu Ayinde for taking Fuji music into another level. It was him dat transformed Fuji music into wat you and i are enjoying today. Wasiu followers or fans grew up wt him in lagos island before he relocated to surulere where he started hangin out wt the College students as well as corporate guys living at surulere, dats where he got his brake from. He was able to create a dance hall fuji style and increased the tempo of the beat to get the attention of these ppl. If not for Wasiu , fuji music would have gone into the extinct. Kudos to him!

Mike Emma, I have been following the unfolding of recent events after the death of Barrister. I’m not arguing the fact that every Fuji musician tries to improve on and perfect their styles off Fuji. The bone of contention here is Wasiu’s attitude to the house of Fuji, the house of Barrister and by extension other Fuji music practitioners. For Wasiu to come out and tries to discredit Barrister’s claim to Fuji is an act of betrayal. While alive, Barrister has laid claim to creating the Fuji genre from were while acknowledging his senior Were singers, his contemporaries and the younger ones (in his fertilizer album). Every other Fuji practitioners agrees to Barristers claim except Wasiu who according to history, came later, lived with Barrister, borrow his name, took his composition to make his first album ( and some many others). Someone that housed you, fed you, clothed you..? That’s the height of ingratitude and that singular act has eroded the love and respect people had for him.

What most of you don't know and doesn't want to know is that Barrister was singing "Were" in those days and his first and second LP was released as sakara group and nobody I repeat nobody was singing any music called Fuji then. Over 12 to 15 years that Barrister has been singing where was K1 before SAB allowed or permitted K1 to use his Vol. 3 as his 1st album c'mon mehn. This man was biased in his statements. He spoke because of love he has to Late Sikiru Ayinde Barrister. History must not biased or tells lies. Late Sikiru Ayinde Barrister (on blessed memory) being the first to modernised Fuji music and take the Fuji's glory did not mean he was the Fuji creator. Likewise, being the General Overseas (G.O) of a particular church doesn't mean you are the founder. Wasiu Ayinde mentioned it in his statements that, Late Sikiru Ayinde Barrister was the one who modernised Fuji music. Historically, it was collective decision to named Sakara music and Were to Fuji music. Some agreed and some did not agreed. The best people to tell the true story are Killington Ayinla and Wasiu Ayinde. Please, don't take the issue the way it is surfaced and don't support anyone because of love...

K1 said this man can testify that barrister isn't the creator of Fuji but he said no barrister is d creator. Please let me ask you if barrister isn't who is the first person to call it fuji, I believe they all have record they produce please provide the record. If not then tell your ungrateful sheep -that was feed and failed to produce only one person that he can boast of grooming in music- to go and hug transformer. I 'll urge you to watch and listen to the interview that Gbenga Adewusi and Muri Tunder hold with Late Sikiru Ayinde Barrister. Sikiru Ayinde said it there that he was not the Fuji creator.

K1 has established the fact in his record "Flavours" long before SAB died. A fact will remain a fact. The genre has a history, and SAB sang that same genre of music. Was he the one that started singing it? We cannot kill the truth just because someone was our master or boss. SAB confirmed him as Fuji King before he died, even after he had released the record "Flavours", and a king of any establishment has the wherewithal to talk about the history of his establishment. A king would not say his father or boss created something and distort history just because he's his biological father or was the heir while he was alive. Whatever K1 said or is saying now is not new.

What is so special about origin of Fuji that make it goes to this ways of creating problems and conflicts among the Fuji musicians. Even the way the respondents talks shows that he his not mature and have political element, the way I view it, because stating, he was condemning Wasiu and denying he was unaware of the crisis among the musicians regards to the Fuji creator, this is not true sir. Please explain your part and don't rubbish or judge anybody for his view. If wash is wrong you can state that without condemning him, this indicates that the whole interview free from bias and i submit that is been sponsored by some aggrieved party towards the creation of Fuji and particularly Fuji musicians from Ibadan.
