Yeah, that comment about not ranking Nunes higher because Cyborg immediately left the UFC was a weak reason. Cyborg was destroying everyone before she got butchered by Nunes. Cyborg was an absolute beast. Her leaving the UFC doesn't change what she accomplished. She was dominant. I don't think considering what a fighter did after losing to a double champ should matter. What should matter is what they accomplished coming into the bout and how well they performed up to that point. Insinuating that Cyborg left the UFC because she wasn't a great fighter anymore makes no sense.

Always thought Cejudo's wins were overrated af. People call him "greatest combat athlete" and speak as if he is up there with guys like jones and GSP because of his run on paper. But in reality, he won a split decision vs DJ where many people had DJ winning. He defended against an absolutely sucked up looking TJ who looked like he was 2 minutes in the sauna away from death. Then he goes up and beats moraes who yeah, was a good fighter. But not even a top 100 all-time fighter by any means. Then they give him dominick cruz who has no finishing ability and was many years past being a threat in the division

@gxtmfa again, you can be a great fighter but still be overrated. His wins can be good but still be overrated. People act like he is on the MMA mount Rushmore which is overrated. They just quickly gloss over his resume when talking about him, even though almost every one of his big wins has something fishy behind it. Being TJ was at deaths doorstep when entering the octagon. I'd make a point that the TJ who fought aljo had a better chance of winning than the tj who stepped in at 125. He looked like a ghost

They both actually made title defenses, that Conor fraud never in his career made a single title defense and the UFC stripped him because of that. Nunes fought the best competition for her 2nd belt when she dismantled Cyborg. Cyborg was an absolute beast. She was destroying everyone in her path. Her leaving the UFC should have no bearing on ranking Nunes. Are you insinuating that her leaving the UFC indicates that her skills had diminished? That's how I took it. Also, an opponent's record after losing to one of these double-champs should not affect that fighter's ranking. What should matter is the opponent's record, past performances, and competition up to that point. One could argue that the loss to the double champ is what initiated the following losses. I argue that your criteria are flawed. In addition, you used some assumptions to help determine your rankings. In summary, no fighter on this list fought an opponent for a 2nd belt that was destroying fighters the way Cyborb was. Nobody.

Considering what parameters you have said you can’t rate Alex over Henry. Jiri is not that much greater than what moraes was at the time. Further Henry was the champ of both divisions at once unlike Alex. Bringing in outside accomplishments means you will have consider Henry’s Olympic gold medal. Also he has defended his belt unlike Alex…. Further Gane is as much tough competition as jiri if not even more, Gane would beat jiri even if they were the same size as Gane is that technically sound, it was just stylistically a bad match up against Jon and I mean it’s Jon jones ffs.

Honestly, GSP outclassing the same Bisping who had just KO'd prime Rockhold and beaten (wobbling and dropping) a GOAT in Silva (post leg break, admittedly) with wrestling but on the feet as well, to me, holds more weight than Jones beating Gane who has really only won against fat journeymen like Tuivasa and Lewis while losing to beginner wrestler, Ngannou. Bisping has actually shown good wrestling against guys like Chael, Rashad and Hendo yet GSP threw the bigger man around. Meanwhile Jones, as he rarely does, fought a man his size (and still had the reach advantage) and focused on the glaring weakness of his appalling wrestling defence, admittedly getting him out in an amazing display.

Cejudo beat both GOATs of his division and Periera got 2 early stoppages in his title fights and lot of people thought Jan beat him. Cejudo and Nunes should go above Conor.
