Gsp just moved differently, his opponents looked slow and robotic. He was always learning and evolving. Jones started losing fights (arguably), and did nothing at heavyweight. Khabib is the only person that can argue that he’s in gsp’s level and he admits he wasn’t.

Stop the cap everyone we cant compare 2 different eras of this sport, GSP was GOAT and so is Kamaru Usman they are from different times its like comparing LeBron James and Michael Jordan. Inside the UFC though even GSP said that the level of competition was different in Kamaru's era because of how well rounded Kamaru's era was mainly because MMA and UFC had better recovery practices and more well rounded sparring partners as well.

If you look at boxing when it first started, people like John L Sullivan , Jack Dempsey, and Rocky Marciano were the best of the best of their era. Fast forward 100 years! It's a different time... men are bigger, stronger, faster, and fitter. Tyson and Lennox would have killed the above fighters. A decade is a long time in boxing as, too, with Mma. The competition in GSP era is not the same as Kamura era. Could BJ Penn beat a modern welterweight?. This conversation is to favourable Kamura because fighting has moved forward.

Dana just wants to promote Usman because he’s still an active fighter & there is money to be made off of him. GSP retired. Does dana hold a grudge against GSP maybe . Even Usman has said GSP is the goat 😂 . He finished on a 13 fight win streak as a 2 division champion. He choked out bisping in Madison square garden for his last fight which was a phenomenal way to retire on your own terms & bisping was a lot bigger than him. I’m impressed by your performance 🤣
