That's my main problem with him too, he can just zone you to wherever he wants you to go by doing basically nothing, without any downside. You run to a window, he holds down his power. You vault, he shoots, you're dead. You don't vault, he doesn't shoot, now you're right next to him so he hits, you're still dead.

@@MohamadAlb oml tell me about it. Skull Merchant games go on for an eternity! Had one match that lasted over an hour because she killed 2 of my teammates and sat her drones on the last 2 gens and had drones to spare on good loops too. Me and the other survivor just couldn’t get it done with how much she pressured those gens. Imo she needs a big fat nerf but I don’t know if it’ll happen

@@MohamadAlb and SM and knights never commit to chase if they feel like they’re losing the match. So they’ll just zone and camp gens all game. They are easily the worst. My 3rd choice would be plague since she’s a total game wrecker.

Predrop a safe pallet and if he uncloaks go to the other side and he can't go all the way around without you just vaulting again. Also works with windows, just do your best not to get body blocked

Hold W find a pallet they will respect the living shit out of it since the stun timer when you get stunned in cloak is stupid long then you can just loop them from there. I find wraith very fun to go against since his power is simple and easy to counter but not braindead easy against a good wriath that knows how to use it

3 killers I find annoying: Xenomorph/alien: His tail will hit the air next to me and it still counts as a hit Plague: Her power is so strong. Cleanse? You’re giving her her power. Dont cleanse? Now you’re just spreading infection and your one hit. And in soloq the survivors always cleanse so your just stuck dealing with a powerful puke flinging monster Lastly, Trickster. I hate this guy the most!!! The spamming is so annoying and he can spam his way through endurance when tunneling and his laugh irritates me. Hate him with my heart and soul.

Skull Merchant is by far the most annoying for me. I actually had a Merchant yesterday that was only slugging, not hooking, was tunneling and they were also streaming and had a DC counter. Just overall a toxic killer and the people that play Merchant are starting to seem like they're all toxic and annoying.

@Steve-me9dd Agreed. I faced one last night and as soon as the game started they started putting down drones to set up a 3 gen. They also put a drone right on top of a totem which ended up being devour and it's just like, bro, really? Are you that self conscious on losing the game that you have to rely on 3 gen and totems? SM players are a different breed for sure.

A couple of days ago I played against condemn Sadako, and MAN the round lasted too long...she just kept teleporting, did hit-and-run and slugging until 3 of us got condemned... 💀I was SO happy at least the 4th guy got the hatch! Such annoying 'strategy'. It seems to me that the only counterplay to this is a really coordinated team with god loopers.

It’s a very annoying thing when you’re in a SWF waiting for the game to end and the killer wants to prolong it. I don’t respect those type of play styles but it is what it is.

i dont understand why everyone hates knight? now that he was buffed/changed his power isnt a nothingburger and hes one of my favorite killers. It's exciting to see if a guard will get a hit or not. its fun to corral survivors into my guards and its always funny when they get a hit (my favorite killer before knight was nemesis because I felt the same way about his zombies) and just dropping a guard at a loop and leaving isnt even an effective strategy so IDK why everyone pretends its the only thing knight can do, considering it doesn't even work? getting the guard to latch onto a survivor via placing the orb near them (it has to be within about 2 meters) is like getting to play spirit for a little bit during a match of an entirely different killer, and lots of people like spirit. Skull merchant however is dreadful. Lock on doesn't do anything, the drones radius are too small to be creative with placement, etc. Her power is basically just being a 118% killer.

You have fun however you like. I'm a P100 Wraith, and people hate going against him because most just bring Sloppy + Nurse's and just hit n run (which is effective for winning). But I play him with none of those perks, because I hate going against that playstyle as a Survivor. I, the same as Puff, like just doing chases and using my power for the little value it can have on a chase (getting bodyblocks, catching up before they get into a loop, getting uncloak mindgames). That's how I have fun playing him, but that doesn't mean everyone has to have fun the same way I have. Some people really like to win for example, and if that's how you have fun, have your fun, but understand that not everyone likes your fun, and that's alright. You end up playing for your fun and not caring about how other people think, because if you play for their fun and expect them to like you, when it doesn't happen it feels horrible. I've played like that and expected people to like me for playing a weak Killer with no perks, but people still hate on you no matter what. You just gotta accept that you have to play for your fun, and not theirs, then you start enjoying playing Killer.

Most annoying to me: Add-ons: Blight Chase: Clown Miserability: Pinhead Technical difficulties: Ghost Face The absolute worst designed killer in the game: Plague Music: Skull Merchant Skull Merchant is simply badly designed and a 3 gen monster. If she has no 3 gens she is bearable though. Plague is simply annoying in every regard. Either you're broken the entire game and cannot really have chases or she has an insta down puke and you cannot really have chases. Even worse is that she has basically no cooldown on her puke so it is nearly impossible to avoid either. She has pretty much no counterplay to her and is simply annoying to face

Plague has no counterplay? She is like the weakest killer, when it comes to dealing with split gens. Break the strongest 3-gen on the map and the next best one thereafter, before you do ANYTHING else, and see her struggle big time. She is slow and she can do nothing against it. In addition to that, she is one of the few killers, who actually suffers on indoor maps. Also, strong survivors have no issue with being injured, as long as they are not on death hook or verse a killer, who gets easy first hits (like Wraith). Not cleansing is not that big of a deal. But even experienced survivors, going by prestige levels, cleanse against her entirely too often (and right besides unfinished gens, which is just the worst). Her true ability is the same thing, that makes Hag so overbearing .... tilted, braindead team mates. I personally think, that the Plague is actually the best designed curve ball killer in the game.

Any 3 gen killer on certain maps Spirit (I don’t have headphones it’s literally unfair for me) Plague (wayyyy too strong against the average bonehead soloQ teammates) Some killers to mention Pyramid head is kinda annoying he can fake his power wayyy too easy and get a hit and he is the most powerful tunneling killer with the banishing bs. A really good nemesis with zombies that are always interrupting gens A good hillbilly that knows how to traverse the map same with blight This game is weird bc it’s so random. There’s a lot of variables that can make the game extremely fun and extremely unbearable.

It sucks that my boy knight gets so much hate because most players who play him are too braindead to do anything except drop guards at loops and kick gens from a distance I wish they would just go past that and actually do what he is meant to do and what is the best way to play him That being Guess the survivors next move, put a guard ahead of them and then have them either be chased back to you or get hit by the guard because they kept running Or have the guard chase one survivor of a gen while you chase the other away after kicking the gen He’s like playing chess You need to be a couple steps ahead to be good with him

Dude, cut Arinad some slack. The bottle placement of this guy is awesome - and much different from what you usually see from most clowns. He really is onto something and seems pretty chill. But I am glad, that you didn't even mention the Doctor. Because my hot take is, that the only survivors, who hate going gainst Doctor, are the ones, who don't trust themselves in chase and rely on sneaking around the killer. Which is a valid playstyle. But the Doctor hard counters it. Most Doctors, including myself, are actually very chase-happy, because finding survivors is so easy.

For me the doctor is at the top of my list. Supid random skill check positions is bad enough but then like 90% of the doctors add the merciless storm perk on top of them. It doesn't matter to me if i have a good team and we are stomping the killer i want a match against the doctor to be over as soon as possible.

13:40 Killers do not have any requirement to make sure the survivers are having fun. Thats the bs entitled survivers cry about on every dbd forum ad nauseum. They are there to play the game that they paid for. Imagine not shooting in an fps game cos your on a kill streak against the enemy team. If you do play nice as I used to letting teams reset or not chasing the closest surviver cos u hooked them last then the game drifts too much away from your victory, u will just get bagged at the gate and called trash in the end chat.

Not a good comparison since fps games are usually 1:1 in terms of balance and they also don't penalize you for leaving unless it's ranked. I think survivors and killers need to learn what courtesy is. Either way it makes me appreciate survivors and killers more.

Errrmm….im a p100 Clown main that plays at high mmr and I’ll tell you now, there are various ways to play this killer. When you brought up the chances of a Clown losing to “decent” survivors being at 85%…I actually agreed. But that’s because 99% of Clown players don’t actually play him strategically and only use his Afterpiece Tonics. (Which is playing him at only 50%….even less that that when you have zero strategy.) He can traverse the map faster with his Antidote bottles that grants him 10% bonus speed for 6 seconds(base kit). He also have add ons to increase the speed and duration of invigoration. Pre dropping pallets on an experienced Clown isn’t as beneficial as most people think. When you synergize his bottles strategically on some loops, you can get a guaranteed hit without even breaking the pallet. And even if you have to break pallet…best thing to do is throw a slow bottle on the other side and throw a speed bottle on your side as they drop the pallet. It’s pretty much a guaranteed hit. Having brutal strength with that strategy increases the chances of you getting the hit even more. Clown has always been a very misunderstood killer and it doesn’t look like that’s ever gunna change. He’s the most underrated killer in the game imo. His skill ceiling is definitely higher than you made it out to be. He’s easy and quite simple to pick up but it really takes time to really REALLY master him.

The worst part of playing against Skull Merchants isn't just that 99% of them just camp 3 gens with the strongest perks, but that they all think they're God's gift to Dbd and think they're genuinely the better players. Like wow, I guess you are the better player when you never commit to chases, run back to the gens once a drone goes down and never leave the 3 gen once 1 gen is left to be done. Honestly whenever I get SM I immediately go next.

Doctor is actually quite strong ... there are just not many gamers, who are really good with him. He has a far higher skill ceiling and much longer learning curve, than what is commonly recognized. Because to use his anti-loop ability to it's fullest potential, one needs intricate map/tile knowledge and fine tuned timing/distance dauging. Also, hard disagree on the 3-genning. I rarely 3-gen as Doctor. Only when the trajectory of the game asks me to or suvivors hand it to me. Doctor is so good at finding the next chase, that just hanging around in one quarter of the map would be selling him way short.

I agree with pinhead 100%. Number 1-2 you have to apply pressure. I always give friends 1-2!times to DC once it exceeds that I put them On time out or give them a two week break to play something else. BecUse the game gets to you after a while

That's funny, I just made a comment about how I like nightfall on your other video. It's weird how similar your playstyle is to mine but how much my opinion differs from yours. I generally like all of the killers you mentioned except Legion, Spirit, Skull Merchant, and Nurse. Part of that is probably because I don't see those other killers as often and I like variety. My most hated killer is Wraith though. Baby Wraiths are fine obviously, but a good Wraith is so fucking annoyyyyyying. He hits you for free, you run to a pallet, he forces you to drop it (or he blocks your window and gets another free hit). He breaks the pallet super fast while cloaked then leaves you and fucks you up on a generator 2 minutes later. It's just sooo dumb.

Trikster is not OP in a general sense. But there are certain tiles, which feature heavily on many maps, where he just melts you. And holding W also doesn't work. He gets weakend by high walled maze tiles, far more than any other ranged killer. But everywhere else, he is overbearing in chase, as soon as his aim is just good enough. Go against a good Trickster on a fairly open, junk tile littered map, like Shattered Square, and the game practically plays itself in the favor of the Trickster. It also doesn't help, that he is a grade A tunneler and even better camper, which incentivizes exactly the kind of play styles, that you would expect.
