I’m just gonna tweet things that I noticed are wrong throughout: Harry’s USA certified sales are actually 9M. - 2 platinum albums, 6x platinum songs all together, 2 gold songs. • Harry is the only member that doesn’t have boosted sales and streams from collaborations or songs for big movie franchises. • Harry is the only member who has done a sold out worldwide arena tour. • Harry’s album Fine Line was the biggest debut for a male pop artist since Justin Bieber’s Purpose in 2015. • Harry has the most engagements on twitter by over 150k despite not having the most followers. • Harry is the only member to chart in the Top 40 in the USA since 2018. • Most of the other members successes came from 2016-early 2018, then they all dipped on the charts besides Harry. • Harry was in an Oscar winning movie, Harry hosted SNL, Harry was the youngest person to ever co-host the Met Gala, Harry is a Gucci ambassador, Harry has broken tour merchandise records, Harry has the fastest song to ever reach #1 on iTunes, Harry holds the record for most #1’s on iTunes with his debut album for a male. I can keep going on but my point is you can’t base who’s more successful on numbers and streams especially when most of them are from collaborations with HUGE pop stars and movie franchises.

I think the most successful right now and the one who will be growing through the years is Harry, if we analysed the first singles and albums that came in 2016/17 have very good numbers from all of them because of the hype of what would they do as soloists and that's why is important the performance of the shopmore era in an artist career, specially with them coming from a huge band, and it's pretty obvious Harry is the only one who's killing it. Plus all of them have collaborated with very well-known artists except Harry, they have way more songs than Harry on the platforms, and Niall, Liam and Zayn (him twice) have soundtracks for big movies and that will make the song to have more sales

The only thing underrated in Zayn's discography is Icarus falls in albums but according to a billboard article even that reached more than 5 billion streams in 11 months of release across all platforms. That's pretty insane if you ask me. Mind of Mine was snubbed of by the Grammys but that's a whole other subject of discussion, the Grammys are becoming somewhat of a popularity award than an art one. As someone who doesn't promote like he should, it baffles me how far Zayn has come.

Thing is, success can be compared in terms of numbers, but talent can't be, talent is a subjective topic. nobody can define exactly who is more talented. For me Zayn is not more talented, they are pretty much equal, as their voices and style of singing is very different, there are so many things that Harry can do in music better and vice versa. In 1d Harry did the most job somehow. I personally prefer Harry's full voice over Zayn's falsetto anyday.

And it was a known fact that back in 2017 Liam, Louis and Niall all brought Twitter followers in order to pass Harry who had the most followers then. JB has over 100M Twitter followers, but Changes sold only half of what Fine Line sold. Is that success? Harry has had the most success on the charts and streams on his own worldwide as he had no collaborations or film ost's under his name. Also Harry has the least amount of videos and songs on all the streaming platforms. He only has 24 total songs on Spotify with zero collabs, remixes while all the others have 100s of them. Same for KZbin. Zayn has close to 100 videos on KZbin followed by Liam and Niall. Harry has the least amount of videos on the platform of which majority are audio videos. The comparisons are unfair as the number of music on each of the platforms differ alongside the promotion and radio payola done by the others. Further most of the big songs and videos from Zayn, Niall and Louis came in 2016. Harry started his solo career in mid 2017. And if we were to discuss who is the most successful 1D member then the current success is what should be looked at. Not success they had 3-4 years ago when the 1D hype was still there. Fine Line is the longest charting top 20 album in US by a 1D member and Fine Line is the longest charting top 10 album in UK by a 1d member and 1d itself. It has not left the top 10 of UK charts since its debut. Adore You is the longest charting top 10 single on the BB charts. Harry has the most top 20 singles by any 1D member in UK. Harry's 2018 tour was the 12th highest grossing tour of 2018. Fine Line even outsold 1D's last two albums in US. Went Platinum in less than 3 months. Has two platinum selling singles from the Fine Line era and another being eligible. And the list goes on. This is what success looks like. The comparison on the video is downright unfair to Harry who is the only successful 1D member at the moment. Social media followings or numbers didn't save Zayn or Niall from flopping with their sophomore albums. You literally awarded Zayn points based on his followers and subscribers and comparing songs that came years before to songs that came recently. Which is why we should look at the actual facts.

Where Harry "lost" points wasn't with social media, because he came second in all of them, it was because his debut era only had one major big song which was Sign of The Times and where as Zayn in his debut had multiple hits and you do have a point that Zayn appeared on a lot of songs and that did put him at an advantage on in terms of streams but his biggest hits were the songs that had him as a lead artist and that's how Zayn just managed to win but like I said in my original comments had the sales for Harry been updated earlier he would absolutely be the winner

Two of which are with HUGE collaborators like Taylor and Sia. Zayn also had the most singles out of all the other members. His sophomore era itself had 9 singles whereas Harry only had one pre album single for HS1 and one pre album single for Fine Line as both Lights Up and Watermelon Sugar are known as buzz singles. Look at how low Zayn's album track streams and then compare them with Harry's. It is clear Zayn can only get streams with his pre album singles. You even went and added Taylor's channel's views under his name when you could have just added his. And also comparing videos and songs that came in 2016 with others whose music came in 2017? Is it fair? The benchmark for success is measured by album sales, tours and longevity. Zayn has none. He literally won the most successful crown based off things which have no substance. I don't have a problem with actual facts and numbers or any of the other members for that matter. But I hate to see people who don't deserve glory gets it. Which in this case Zayn. Does anyone notice during the first stage of 1D hype it was Zayn they made prominent then the following years till the band disbanded it’s Harry who they groomed to be known to the public when they disbanded. But even w/the popularity that was intended for him during 1D days he is still tag along with popular artists/people or popular Tv shows more often either sang w/them or he is present on their shows. Off course who would forget Zayn when he is the first one in the band who made those big note and all the popular artists he collaborated during his solo career . Liam is one of the member who always starts the song most likely and doing falsettos in the later years and during his solo career he also collaborated with known artists. Then there’s Nail, the most love member since he doesn’t have any bad affiliation with the press and now in his solo career with the President on his side.
