That was an excellent presentation. So many reviews spend far too long focusing on one specific feature and skip the parts I am interested in. You covered everything in just the right amount of detail.

Completely agree. Love that this is an actual review with clear structure. Every other video was hyping up random assortments of features with no clear framework or analysis

You can also connect to the screen wirelessly from a laptop or phone. When connected this way you can use the touchscreen to control the wirelessly connected device.

Thanks a lot, not many actually useful videos for this product. Can you talk a bit about application with iPad and Samsung tablets,can we easily use shared OneNote please? What about wall mount? You mentioned the plugs at the back is difficult to access? Thanks a lot.

I've seen and played around with this display at Archidex 2022 @ KLCC... Quite a nice thing, but the pixel density is horrid if you're looking up close (highly unlikely in classroom setting) The thing is, can the Flip stylus be used on the S22 Ultra? Because most digital whiteboards use an IR border around the edges of the display to sense pen position, rather than a large digitizer behind the screen... I reckon the Flip display is just recognizing the S22 stylus as a finger? Do let me know, equally interested to see the display tech!
@NasiLemakTech Жыл бұрын
I think the pixel density is fine, but the layering on top of the display makes it look not that good. I didn't try the stylus on the S22 Ultra though 🤔 should've done that in hindsight. Anyway, I can write confirm this is a large digitized screen. The S Pen is detected as a finger/stylus because thei can't seem to enable the 2048 levels of pressure.

How is writing Chinese characters on this screen? Huawei Ideahub had a autocomplete function and a brush function that made Hanzi look ok. I'm really interested in getting a 85", but I can't find a demo room to test the handwriting function

Have you had a chance to use any pen displays? I’m going to be teaching theoretical computer science online and for handwriting I am currently debating between if I want to use a pen display (like the Huion Kamvas 24), a smartboard like this, or a large tablet. Curious what you would choose for this and why. Thanks again for the review!
@NasiLemakTech6 ай бұрын
Eh, interesting question that you're posing here. I did try using the Huion Kamvas before and I think for your use case (since it's all online), the Huion Kamvas should suit you better. If you want a more budget-friendly or trial version of something similar, maybe try out this method first - if you have a Samsung tablet, that is. kzbin.info/www/bejne/ooLXe5h3lJaboassi=iX5T4ANW3i_3BSmw Having a separate tablet would mean you can use the tablet for something else, but may introduce some points of failure while linking to your computer to do the lecture.

If you have an iPad, you could also hook it up via a capture card to make it work like a Huion Kamvas.

I don’t already have a tablet, but certainly I’m considering one. I guess the main benefits I potentially I see of a pen display over a tablet are the larger writing surface and writing on it feeling more like writing on paper and less like writing on glass (or so I have heard). The main benefit of a tablet seems to be lower latency, but I’m not sure how noticeable the latency difference is for handwriting on pen display vs tablet vs smartboard
