What cracks me up is that people think you have to be “in love” the whole time. Marriage is Work and you cannot be “in love” the whole time, that would just be exhausting. You have to really “Like” each other though...

How can you be ok with not being in love with the person you got married? There's no point to be married to someone that you only have friendship feelings.
@evaadams82982 жыл бұрын
@@Kprat-z5h I think you have missed my point entirely. You can still Love the person you married, but people confuse “in Love” with lust where you can’t think of anything else. I have been with my partner for 21 years and I really LOVE him and really LIKE him too. However the love we have for each other now is much deeper than it was before. What we have is real contentment as opposed to that all consuming “in love” which is not sustainable for the long term.... I believe that is why loads of people leave relationships after that so called “in love” (I.e. lust), part is over. They are honestly chasing rainbows. If you find a person that you “LOVE” and also really respect and LIKE, then you are lucky.

Teresa Wilson- Actually, that's the way its usually been done for generations, haven't you noticed by now? If the kids are difficult, it's mom's fault, bad home life? Also mom. Just listen to the last 50 years of popular music- if the man-songwriter isn't trying to deflower an underage virgin, he's complaining that his wife is a whore and a cheat. Even if he himself is or was cheating, it's her that is responsible for the breakdown of their marriage. Convenient if you ask me. (And even if you didn't...)

@@teresawilson3893 - I am a feminist. Despite what fear men have of us, like Rush Limbaugh, (may he roast in Hell) calling us Feminazis and such. Men will hold onto their power as long as possible- that's why we never had a woman President (they threw everything they could at poor Hillary Clinton when she ran- and she had to concede to tRump, even though she won the popular vote) Also, don't forget that it only took black men 5 years after the Civil War to get the right to vote, (on paper, anyway) but it took women 50 additional years before we were given that same right. Think about it- women didn't get the right to vote until 1920. Men will not give up or even share any power in the existing system, even though they say they will. They lie- profusely.
