I get the feeling that Rocco is a replacement for Asprilla or Martins. Looks like he would do well in the inside forward roles behind the striker in the 3421 setup. Sounds like good business by the club.

Or perhaps the club wants to loan out Jack Grieves and Asprilla will play in the middle? Therefore requiring a new right winger.

@@johnmitchell2269 Had the same thoughts about Asprilla playing more central he's Watford's most creative player by a country mile. Colombia have played him deeper and central he has a terrific passing range from deep. I think they might keep Grieves this season and build up the squad numbers a bit along with Forde. Hopefully TC can get the situation with Louza properly sorted and get him keen on running out again this season.

@@Zed-n3x Yeah he's not physical enough to play CM but he would get more goals and assists if he played CAM. Now that Kone has left that position should be his.

I'm bewildered by the excitement around this signing. He's a bit of a nothing player. He's a winger and couldn't get a game against some of the dross we have on either wing this season, so he may be promising, but not a player we'd miss at this stage if he can't get a game in front of our current terrible wingers. Celtic have plenty of players who go on to bigger things once they've done a couple of years year in the first team, but we very rarely miss any who move on prematurely. He may come to something, but I'm not bothered that we couldn't keep him.
