This woman is my partner's great aunt! She gets talked about a lot at family get togethers (as well she should, she was amazing). What gets me is that a relative wrote a "biography" about her that was full of inaccuracies. She (the "biographer") has been completely shunned by the rest of the family, and is genuinely a friggin wackadoo. Rest in power, Christine; we're keeping your story alive!

My dear wonderful late father was a US Army Lt./medic on Normandy (Omaha Beach, USA 104th Medical Battalion) on D-Day. (I revere and miss him terribly and am deeply grateful to all allied participants during this war.) Watching this left me on the edge of my brain. When strife hits, you see people's real natures rise to the top. What an amazing person is Christine and I say this in present tense because her mark is eternal.

Yes. I can't believe how poorly Christine was treated after all the contributions she made to the allied effort. Unfortunately they would've been many more like this. So many unrecognised allies that fought, from the front lines to spying. But Im always so grateful for their efforts.

She was demobilised in April 1945 in Cairo, receiving a severance pay of just £100 (the average annual salary was about £3,000 at the time) along with personal thanks from Winston Churchill…

An incredibly brave and dynamic woman who managed to achieve feats that most people could not even imagine. The SS and Gestapo were a lunatic bunch of sadistic mass murderers; to take them on and outwit them takes true steel and courage. RIP.

I think it was a 2nd time I saw 👀 this magnificent documentary during this summer season. Britain 🇬🇧 was not appreciated and thankful valued Polish volunteered to Britain armies and Britain intelligences against Nazism invaders of Poland 🇵🇱. Those (unknown warriors)heroes suffered strict poverty, neglecting, even British society imposed them to surrender themselves to communist Poland 🇵🇱 regime... rather than Poland armies in ( Habbania base, it was utilized against Iraq 🇮🇶 people from 1941-1958 ... those Polish heroes were the poverty pulling them down silently one after one...

To protect the delicate sensibilities of Millenials and Gen-zs...they have enough to worry about, you know, like if they lose a cell signal for a few minutes and can't google the answer to something, or have to make an actual decision, or uber eats is late.

so I see that the shrinking violets that make up the staff of KZbin were horrified that a corpse was shown in a crime scene photograph used in an EDUCATIONAL video. I guess that in their little fantasy world when people die they just politely disappear. I am glad that I caught this video the first time it was uploaded and when it disappeared I had a sneaking suspicion as to why which was confirmed by this iteration. Come on KZbin! The world is not always a happy place of unicorns and fairy princesses!

KZbin are sick with the woke mind virus. The same virus that did what you say in this video, and that also nerfed the 🔫 emoji. They know what’s best for us… allegedly. They censored true information during the cerveza sickness too. KZbin are out of control with tyranny and violating free speech and freedom of information. The founders, and Reagan namely, are rolling in their graves that an American corporation, Alphabet, has co-opted such communist, Marxist, and Orwellian practices.

My relatives were lucky to be refugees at that time. We were welcomed into the UK. If we were refugees now we probably wouldn't be so lucky sadly (or we'd be fine because we're the "right" ones according to those with prejudices - white and christian). I feel for those in that position today. I'm so sorry. There's no excuse (particularly when we had a role in creating the conflict in the first place). My husband's family certainly isn't so lucky. Why are my relatives more valuable than his (trust me. They're not.)
