Crass is the ONLY reason streetpunk lived through the 90's dude! They are the ones who promoted the DIY ethic, and having the balls to squat and rot! Believe it or not, streetpunks used to live in the street! When I got into punk, we all loved Crass! A lot of us loved crust! It's all punk dude fuck the dumb shit! Punks should be cool with anybody who refuses society! That's the whole point! I can't listen to Crass for too long, but American Streetpunk is heavily influenced by the example Crass set. At least in the 90's before posing on the internet and trying to sell out became all the rage. The scene is totally braindead now because like 99% of people listened to one stupid ass Casualties song and it became fuckin gospel. Crass is the punkest punk band ever.
