What other P!nk songs would sound really good even if she were accompanied by a solo instrument instead of a whole band? (Or do you like her voice so much that you’d pay to hear her sing the phone book acapella?)

I love this guitar tutorial. This is so well done. And I love how you used the acoustic radio performances from 2012 for reference. I love those performances of this song. I will definitely be using this video to help me learn it this way this summer. Would you be able to do a tutorial of her song "F**kin' Perfect"? She also performed that song at those same radio interviews in 2012. That would be so awesome. Those are my two favorite songs by her and they both sound so good solo acoustic. I also think her song "Crystal Ball" is a beautiful acoustic song that sounds amazing. And I would love to one day soon learn that on acoustic guitar too! :)

Thanks, Steve. I've added your requests to my list, but I have a lot of other projects that I'd like to complete before doing more guitar tutorials. Rather than waiting for me, then, you'd be much better off searching for other KZbin tutorials on those songs. In the meantime, have fun playing "Who Knew".

@@BrianWhitmerMusic Thanks Brain. It was a great tutorial. Yeah I guess I was just getting excited. But yeah, good luck with your projects. You're right, there is a lot of other tutorials out there. I'll see what I can find. Have a great week! :)

No one has her range but this was one of the best tutorials of this song. I have watched a bunch. You played the cord and showed a diagram simultaneously and then at the end actually played it with all the cords you just showed which no one ever does this was really good thanks

Hands down one of the best tutorials on KZbin. I was looking for a nice sounding song to learn and you made it so didactic, I love the drawings of the chords so I don't have to guess them. Massive props, instant sub, like and hoping you do more in this format! :)

Chord naming is as much art as science, so I think you could call that either an Asus2 or an Esus4/A.

good tutorial. I would say, as an intermediate guitar player, that this isn't exactly 'beginner' material, although like you said with some practice they should get it. seems like the only 'standard' chord is the E. anyways, good video!
@BrianWhitmerMusic8 жыл бұрын
You make a fair point, and I don’t disagree. I just prefer to err on the side of encouraging beginners to challenge themselves with slightly more advanced material, and this song is a great opportunity for that. I make pretty much the same point in my “Suicide is Painless" tutorial. That song's intro is best classified as intermediate, but anyone who can play basic open chords can still master it with a little extra practice. Play on, my friend, and thanks for your feedback.

Hi Brian, this has been fantastic to learn from thanks so much for putting in the time to do this 🙂 any chance you could do a tutorial for Pink Funhouse?
@BrianWhitmerMusic5 жыл бұрын
I'll certainly put a Funhouse tutorial on my To-Do list, Andrew, but I've got to be honest: I have a very long To-Do list. Keep searching KZbin periodically, 'cause someone else is likely to make one before I do.
