How do people even get get so many XLs??? Yeah I get that most legendaries they raid a lot, but what about stuff like Hoopa, Zarude, Meloetta? I'm free to play and I've been grinding over 5 months walking over 80km every week and my Zygarde is barely at level 45 :( I've invested every Rare XL I've gotten until now (the halloween event was good. Got 8 total. Hope they do that more often)

By raiding in person, they get rare candy xl and invest them into mythicals.

@2OP4YOU It's not guaranteed though. I have used my daily raid pass everyday and the rare candy XL is a very infrequent drop. Like 1 in 12-15 raids. And yes I do in person raids too. Pros of living in a populous city Remote raids are ridiculously overpriced anyway
