Technically it's possible to preserve and ferment butter to where it smells and tastes like cheese. But you can't do it with pasteurized butter because it lacks the good bacteria that would kill the bad ones that would grow too while it ferments. And it's usually done the other way around where you ferment the cream before churning butter. But it's doable the other way around too. Remember kids humans are scavengers with only canines and vultures having higher acidity stomachs. The food is not spoiled you're just a sissy.

The oils in the butter go rancid. So, if you want to keep butter longer, freeze it. Cooking spray can go rancid too, but there is likely no actual butter in it.

A food poisoning stream. Cooking extremely expired food, in a barely cleaned cooking device that you left soap in, using expired cooking spray and dropping raw eggs on your desk onto the fork you might be eating the food with. How did she miss the pot that badly. Personally I use the back of a butter knife to crack my eggs. Use the tip of the knife for butter for the pan then use the back of the knife to crack the egg over the pan.
