Incredible. Jimi is one of my idols and I always wondered where he got his wardrobe from... He loved fine fabric and I wouldn't be surprised if he developed his own clothing line had he lived... Probably would have partnerd with Micheal and his team. One can only dream😔 Good on the city of Tampa for commemorating Jimis' time there. Thanks for this stellar vlog Jordan... RIP Jimi☺💝🎆🌹

Wow Michael Braun was a genius designer who is used to thinking on his feet at a moment’s notice. I’d be a nervous wreck. Thanks for having him sharing all those stories with us Jordan. You bring people out of their shell and make them feel comfortable which is a gift. My husband got to see Jimmy perform at the Monterey Pop festival. Thanks for sharing this moment in time with us, Jordan & Michael B.❤️🙏🏻🌴😎

Props to Mike and to ALL the groovy people who helped Jimi along the way !! The fact is there were several designer's for Jimi Clothes and He dug them ALL. coz thats how Jimi was, he was just grateful just 'to be there' and really and truly appreciated the love and attention he recieved and made darn shure he gave back,as well. Stella and Collette, He knew a New York clothing boutique owner named Colette Mimram who was also a friend of one Jimi's many girlfriends, Devon Wilson. Colette's boutique sold funky clothes of her own design and Jimi asked her to design some of his stage clothes, including his woofstock jacket/shirt and more. Play on Gypsy play on !!

That explains why his clothes esp his jackets, couldn't be found anywhere! Great sense of style from someone who, as a kid, wore either the hand-me-downs of others or clothing slightly ragged! He had style. He wasn't that kid any longer and it showed! Love you, Jimi...always!

Wow this is a great interview. I'm a huge Jimi fan and I love hearing about his cool clothes. I saw several of them in the rock n' roll hall of fame once and they were very beautiful. I always wondered who made them. I use to eat at the Morrisons cafe when I was a kid. It was always a lot of older people and country food I liked. I can't imagine Jimi eating there haha. Good to know he was kind to the waiter, you can tell alot about how people treat waiters.

Back in the late sixties early seventies my sister and I would take apart bell bottoms and insert fabric to make the bells bigger or turn them into long skirts and then embroider flowers with small mirrors as centers -I remember doing a desert scene on my jean jacket- we made embroidered linen shirts that had a poncho shape to them -very light and breezy- sure wish I still had some of those
