I saw the video & had to do my best to translate it, there are a bit that I am not fully confident in. I think they might have changed Felix's name to Philip in this adaptation, but since I wasn't 100% sure I decided to stick with the name Felix. Also my translations on Ijekiel's line seem a bit wonky? This is the best I can do, so I hope you all enjoy! If you have any pointers feel free to tell me. :)

But I’m sad they didn’t explain the actual plot in the trailer, some people may miss the "i wanna survive against dad’s cruelty" thing that makes the story so original Edit : okay, maybe not so original, it's a trope in webtoons

@@libbie_vance on that subject I actually think I would like it more if they followed the novel instead of the manhwa for this adaption. Unlike the manhwa, the whole drawn out amnesia arc didn’t really happen in the novel and the ending for it was a lot more satisfying imo once they dug more into how they ended up using the world tree powers. None of that was really cover in the manhwa and I thought the amnesia arc was annoying because Claude was gone for so long and it was so drawn out but that’s just my opinion.

I only read the manhwa so I don't know the original story, but the amnesia thing was a bit meeehhh🙄 for me . She worked so hard on their relationship and then everything is like in the beginning again or even worse. It wasn't the whole amnesia thing for me, but the time she spent away from the castle with Jeanette. I couldn't wait to end those chapters. I would prefer to watch her learn magic instead because she just said I tried and it worked (the teleportation and the money thing).... For me her relationship with Jeanette was a bit boring and Jeanette's constant struggle with her feelings and the relationship with her father too. She was so naive. Otherwise I liked the manhwa very much I just wanted these chapters to end quickly.

@@Alexarose06Maybe in season 2,,, Jewel effects are so hard that the only anime that pulled off having someone with jewel-like traits while still looking like anime was Land of the Lustrous and they’re 90% CGI because the team realized replicating refraction (light spreading) and reflection of the jewels is literally impossible without using some kind of software.

Agree animating a jewelled eyes in each frame is difficult but if you look closely in 0:46 and 1:15 the jewelled eyes is there maybe they just didn't add the jewelled part but ONLY add in when the scene close in like who is going to zoom in every frame to look if the eyes is sparkling

I have a feeling that if the people who made the trailer, didn’t include Lucas, it would get a ridiculous amount of less views, for people being like “Don’t watch the trailer. It isn’t worth it. Lucas isn’t there.” Or something, since Lucas is like, the absolute most liked character in the entirety of the series. I wish we got more of him in the manwha, and I wish we meet Lucas, at least, sort of early into the DongHua, but I also sort of want him to come in later, but have a bit more screen time. I just realized how this makes me seem like a Lucas fangirl or something so… Ijekiel is cute in both the Manwha and the animation.. Also! Question for everyone who read this far, If you could only save Lucas or Ijekiel, who would you chose and why? It doesn’t have to be a reasonable answer! You can just say it’s because you like one of them more, therefore you chose to save them. Lol. My answer would be to save Ijekiel since he’s weaker and Lucas would likely be able to get out of whatever it was, at least eventually.
