He is direct rival of havik and is literally a leader of a dictatorship and you can explore how orderrealm while being disguised as the perfect utopia but living in the realm is completely the opposite and fucked. I think letting Raiden sit out on the main roster is a good idea. I first heard this when you were on the netherkast. His reveal trailer would be insane. It doesnt matter what order we get the characters as long as we get them. You guys also talked about kai and kung lao being the main hero's.

I obviously like and follow you both but just in defensive Max, I think his viewpoint was almost completely based on gameplay and yours was more so on lore. At least according to your responses and his reasons given for why characters should or should not be in and I’m kind of somewhere in the middle. Kollector is a great example where design and story wise, he is cool as shit and such a MK looking ass character but gameplay wise, he just doesn’t make any sense so a character like that is the perfect example of someone who would rank really high on your list but really low on Max’s. I would love to see him back but completely redesign his gameplay. If you listen to the way he’s describing the characters, he is almost solely basing things off of gameplay and I would agree gameplay wise a lot of the characters he placed where they should be her not to mention that smoke, Ermac, reptile & the cyborgs are on top of the list

I think some of these 3D Era characters, or just some boring characters, that didn’t really get much depth in the one game they’re in, such as Ferra/Torr, or Darrius, should be given a second chance to try to rectify mistakes, or maybe give them some depth or something to make them more interesting and more beloved.

If we don't have variations I don't ever want to see Triborg again. I love how well Triborg takes advantage of the variation system, but I don't want him over the other cyborgs. Cyrax, Sektor and Smoke are their own characters with personality and story. You wouldn't like it if they put Scorpion, Subzero and Reptile into one character and then told you that you couldn't get them separately ever again. Only Chameleon will come back with their moveset. I hate Triborg for that mindset that it gave people

I think under the right circumstance triborg can work but in the games it has to be done a very very specific way like in MKX the for variations did offer the gameplay differences of each of the cyborgs but if I remember correctly their personalities were not reflected if you could have selected the specific cyborg and their personality be reflected I think that would have been a lot better also I feel like the idea of the character can work in the universe as an evolution of the tekhunin evolving to be one collective mechanical consciousness no longer separated by any form of individuality becoming solely machine unfortunately we would have to sacrifice individual characters for this but I think maybe if this concept was used in a movie it could make a cool thing in the game's though the characters and the individuality is of those characters are far too important to be sacrificed in my opinion even if the gameplay possibilities are interesting

I didn't want to watch this when it came out but max didn't just say delete all 3D era characters he even gave shujinko, ashara and havik some love but like poet said because he doesn't have that understanding of the characters sosome that have potential to be cool got past him. Hotaru an actual knight in plate armour (which is a cool aesthetic not really used in fighting games) quelling a rebellion that he inadvertently started though his own rigid belief of order (he is from the realm of order but even for them he's excessive) and being a massive dictator, mavado had a rivalry with kabal and beat him an inch from death then left his there to die and took his hook swords as a trophy (this also sets up kabal to form the new black dragon clan where he recruits kira and kobra) also its grappling hooks not whips if they redesign him to use them for mobility he would be like spencer in MK and Kai is Liu Kang's disciple that they forgot after 4 which still irritates me seeing as DA would have been the game to expand his character. If given a chance the 3D era characters would be actually good as most just need a little more attention to make them truly good but netherrealm and the more causal/older fan base just want to sweep them under a rug because they they don't know/don't care for them.

Jeepers Creepers or Doom Guy This list was very difficult to make but it’s just a roster predictions/wish list. Certain characters I left off the list because they will be NPC’s in. My MK12 such as Motaro Onaga, Goro, etc. we need NPC‘s to move the story so I don’t care if a lot of these fans are crying because their character didn’t get in the roster. i’m the type of Mortal Kombat fan that puts lore on the same level of importance as gameplay. Also, I would still have the cinematic movie story mode by one year from the game release I would have Konquest mode for DLV update and that Moe would consistently update just like Krypt. Konquest I would try to have over 80%. Canon the rest could be Easter eggs. And just non canon fun that you know isn’t canonical.

Tbh, I grew up in the 3d era, but there was only a handful of "cool" or interesting characters. Most ppl have their nostalgia glasses. The reason a lot of ppl are mentioning them is because the ppl who grew up with them (like me) are now adults and are making content about how "THEYRE THE GREATEST AND NETHERREALM GAMES SUCK!" I can't wait in 2040 for ppl to say "Mk11 was hated on even tho it's the GREATEST MK GAME OF ALL TIME!"

Only difference is the 3D Era was good. It added a lot to the story and world of MK which is the most important as it's what sets MK apart from every other fighting game

@@connorharnage6697 Mk still has that! The story mode from mk vs dc and 9 is copied by other fighting games. And you can't lie and say mk9 didn't make mk mainstream again. Cuz i remember when the 3d games came out. A lot of ppl at the time said they weren't as good as the 2d era. Which I disagree, i think all of the MAIN line mk games have been great, can't wait for mk1.

Heavy disagree on his take on the Order Realm characters. This ain't like MK9 where you're recreating events to an extent. This is a brand new timeline and I feel every Realm should be represented. So Havik and at least one Order Realm character (ideally Hotaru but with heinsight we have Darius so that's fine) should be in
