i'm scared that this "full release" will end up feeling like just another update, in the same way going from one wipe to another feels, and not like what is suposed to be the biggest update to tarkov yet. Kinda like how "Ready or not" 1.0 felt like the game wasn't actually finished and that there was still a lot of things to work on (even though it's a great game).

@@diabolic1797 That's where my comparaison with ready or not comes from actually; The 1.0 update of the game added all the naratives and story ellement, wich was indeed huge, but it still felt like the game had a lot of possible improvements that could possibly be added (like optimisation, wich is also a concern about the full release of tarkov for me)

I hope you're ok, Nolan. That was kinda heavy to drop at the end, especially with everyone going through something lately. I hope that you'll be able to find peace and reinforce boundaries between yourself and the opinions and such from other people. I was one of the one's who asked if Star Citizen was worth playing if I didn't think I had time. I'll be happy to watch you play that or make videos about it more often, when I can. Your passion for things you care about is motivational, even if it's not necessarily meant to be. As a Tarkov fan, you've given a ton of time and effort, and your presentation and delivery of your information as well as opinions, isn't toxic or something that makes you a bad or malicious person. People who spread toxicity in various forms more than likely have issues that they need to work out, and it's not something about you personally, they're just... mad people. Bsg are humans also, and as we know, humans make mistakes. It doesn't help that the gaming industry is in a bad state right now, so even if it hurts to do so, reeling back your attention and energy away from stressful things when they're supposed to be fun, is 100% valid. All suggestions here, I just hope you're okay. I've driven very recklessly due to being "driven" nuts by other things in my life, so if you need to pump the brakes and dismount the Tarkov train for a bit, then so be it.

As a fellow rider, who rides out of enjoyment, and I honestly enjoy speeding quite frequently, be careful with it. You can get the thrill and enjoy the rush of going fast, without being a risk to others around you. Find some areas that are great for going fast, but have little to no traffic, and little to no driveways. If there are driveways, other roads, passing lanes, traffic hot spots; memorize the route, and the important details. Get the adrenaline from hitting 120 mph and cornering at 45 degrees, but do it so that if you do crash, if you do end up dying from the thrill, DON'T involve other people. Nobody in any car, on any other bike, walking their dog, etc. wants to be hit by you, your bike, any debris, and most likely nobody would like to witness it. That being said, all in all, be careful, don't TRY to die, enjoy the thrill, and if you actually need help, find someone to talk to; be it a therapist, friend, lover, family, or stranger, you gotta let out the feelings. Hope you feel better, that Tarkov brings some fantastic content, and that you keep uploading these wonderful videos yourself. Don't over work, and thank you for the video.

judging by the fact that it took them six years to fix the recoil, I really don't see them fixing the Netcode, Audio, AI, Performance, Quests, Spawns, and other bugs in a year. and yes, those are the basic things that NEED to be functional for a full release. I really think that this is a classic case of BSG straight up just lying about when something is coming. Maybe in 2044 we will see a full release.

They have had literally over a decade of dev time (development began in 2012), and yet have significantly little to show for it in comparison to other "small dev teams" that have had equal or half that amount of dev time. Arrowhead has a dev team about the same size of BSG (which ranges from 80 to 110 devs, while Arrowhead has about 100 devs), and they began development on Helldivers 2 back in 2016. The amount of content and attention-to-detail in HD2 makes EFT look laughable, and the game has already had several updates entirely for free in the mere two months since its release (the devs are also constantly active with the playerbase via the Galactix War and "Game Master" systems). HALO was a darn cultural phenomenon that had 4 massively successful games and a collection of books by the time it managed to have its own 1-hour live-action film (Forward Unto Dawn), and it took another decade after that before it came out with a dumpster fire of a TV show. _No Man's Sky_ started development in 2011 with an _insanely_ smaller dev team as well as less funding and success than BSG, and they have been pumping out massive update after update (more like expansions that make Arena look like a pitiful microtransaction) for years now entirely for free. For crying out loud, Larian Studios started development on Baldur's Gate 3 in 2017 (the same year EFT entered "Open Beta"), and while they had about twice as big of a dev team (200 devs), BG3 was a massively more complex content-rich RPG with superior graphical fidelity that was finished and polished, and won _Game of the Year,_ all within the same timeframe that EFT has remained in "Beta". So, the question I and many others with more than two brain cells have is this: Where the hell has BSG's dev hours and funding been going to?? Because in all honesty, they have long run out of excuses by this point. BSG being a "small dev team" still worked to an extent back in 2019/2020. That doesn't work anymore in 2024 after 12 years of development and massive financial global success.

"when you pick up items , they go into your backpack" I wish, ammo goes into your rig. Which means when I reload, I drop mags, because 1 space ammo prevents the mag going back into my rig all too often. And yes I am scrounging for ammo of maps even with traders unlocked.

The only thing that agitates me is, they are putting too much effort in Unity 2021 when they are switching to unity 2023 with it's own fuck truck of bugs and features. ​@@Joe-kl4vu if you'd really played 2000 hours you'd know that there are many places on all the maps, stairwells for example where there is little to no audio, then theres the de-sync, issues with mags and ammo ie currently mags won't empty unless they are in your inventory, hit reg issues damage calculation issues. I could go on and on. Most of these are bugs that have been fixed before but return later in other patches

It's very very easy to cheat in tarkov, hell you could have cheats ready to go in under 15 mins and you probably won't get caught unless blatant asf even then will take months. Vs other games it's far harder and get banned much faster.

4k hours in the books, first two months of wipe went fine as they always do. Now nearly every map im rubberbanding back and forth and getting high packet loss disconnects, when i ads it stutters and un-ADSes me.. im pretty much at a loss. 1.0 is far out lets be real. Theres still issues that havent been addressed just new content to try to mask it. The amount of time wasted in this game between the long loading screens (getting into a raid and sometimes even getting out of a raid the black screen that requires alt f4 most times) the "moving items error", the audio you guys can fill in the rest

Tarkov is not ready for a full release. The amount of content they would have to include to make it a true memorable full release coupled with all the bugs and cheaters still in the game would just create more bugs, frustration and anger. And let's not even speak of their servers. I remember on wipe day 12.23 i couldn't even get in the game for 8 straight hours because all their servers were completely overloaded. Imagine how it would be at a well advertised full release... CHAOS!

If they don't fix: 1. Audio (bugs, unrealistic audio, quiet sounds need to be quiet, and loud noises need to be louder...), 2. Netcode (desync is unbearable), 3. Health system (too unrealistic for a "realistic tactical shooter": jumping from 4 meters with 30 kg will either kill you or will break your spine or leg beyond repair, thus making you immobile the rest of that raid, you can take limited amounts and combinations of all stims (drugs) with no serious side effects, painkillers are extremely unrealistic.....), 4. Movement (players are too fast, cannot get tired...), 5. Cheaters, The game is not ready for 1.0 release.
