It pains me to say, but Kohli and Rohit needs to be dropped for few series to send stern message to all. Sanjay Ji is correct, Super Star culture needs to be ended else we have seen the best days of Indian Cricket. Though I like for the players to get more opportunity when they r in form (like IPL) but same principle does not apply to the coaching staffs. Just one season in IPL does not prove Gautham Gambhir is ready to be the coach of the best team in the world cricket. BCCI needs to do serious introspection.

@@kanikaarora2316 ya agree, suddenly our bench strength looks very ordinary. Just a few years ago when Kohli was captain it was solid. India without Kohli, Shami beat full strength OZ side in Australia. Our fast bowling strength looked great too, but look at today... What's the difference? Lack of hard work ethics and superstar culture in my opinion. BCCI needs to be strict and stay vigilant that no complacency creeping in the player's attitude.

@@singularsink yeah, it's scary. Don't feel to watch it any more. Their wickets are falling like house of cards whether it's India a and India,both . I think bcci should reserve some players for test cricket and pay them well, so that they should not worried about playing ipl, otherwise the test cricket is gone. When nothing great is happening, they start talking about ipl to distract people, as if we are fools. If u are not good in international cricket, then no ipl save the image of indian cricket ...

I think this was on the cards, as Indian top orders bat were not consistent in last five years or so. India has been getting saved mostly by they all round lower order. For example - Axar's crucial contributions with the bat helped India secure the last BGT series. India - Eng series was largely saved by newcomers - Jaiswal, Juriel and odd innings from Rohit. As Ashwin will get old, his reflexes are likely to go down and he may not be able to contribute with bat as effectively as he has done in the past. India should have brought new players and ask Rohit and Virat to leave in both Test and ODIs, but they are waiting for poorest of results to come. Rohit Sharma after his comment in press "that it is okay to loose once in 12 years" should have been shown the door immediately. But since the Board has been so inefficient that they have not invested in future leadership of Test Matches. In this situation, only firing Rohit and making Ashwin as a stand in captain was the right choice to save the face.

Siraj's big weakness is that he can't keep the seam straight hence can't swing the ball consistently. Now his pace is down too. I don't think he should tour Australia. Miss Shami big time.

Disgusting performance from the Indian team. Gambhir is a total failure as a coach. Rohit Sharma and Viral Kohli are failing for past few series. They should retire from test cricket gracefully or they should be dropped for good of the Team. But I doubt it, these three have so much clout....they will not be touched...No faint Shah.

I don't get it what problem everyone has with virat staying in london. It has nothing to do with his cricket and form. Everyone knows his form is not good and should be dropped if he doesn't perform in bgt. But here everyone is concerned of him going to london. Everyone has a life outside of cricket.
