Oh hell yeah! I'm such a fan of the old linear Castlevania's and also Bloodstained Curse of the Moon 1 and 2 so this game is right up my alley.

I am too! It's gameplay is extremely reminiscent of CoTm 1&2. If you like those you'll for sure like this.

So...is it safe to say this game is a Megamanvania? A Megavania if you will. Since "Inticreates" made this game, the stages don't interconnect and you have to go back to a red pillar which is basically the stage select screen from the Megaman series? I've never played Demon's Crest so I have no reference to that game at all 😒. All in all I'm enjoying this game so far. Edit: Also getting subweapons after every boss fight is another comparison

@@CrimsonContrast Yea! That's a apt comparison as well. I just don't like that people are using the metroidvania tag. It's extremely misleading

@@MegaYoYo I do enjoy the 3 games for what they are. Glad the spinoff keep the spirte of the series with the "Panty Raid" from Patrick starfish lol.
