IIRC if Punk did manual dive kick instead of out of demon flip, it's -2 on block at worst. It's not punishable, so that's probably why DCQ didn't try.

As a Manon player and huge iDom fan it kills part of me to know that he'd be practically unstoppable playing a meta character. Glad he's staying true to who he likes playing but I hope we get some more buffs so he can get Ws with her alone

I don't understand how Punk just gets to walk up to people and do whatever. If I try to walk up 5LP, I get stuffed by 2MKs and 2MPs, if I try to be out of range to whiff punish, they don't press anything. Divekick doesn't help either cause people move so much, so either I'm out of throw range, or I'm minus and don't get pressure

He's just very good at conditioning people. People won't respect you walking up if you don't make them scared of everything else, he must be terrifying to face haha.

It's just a different breed of decision making/performance with all the factors that come with tournaments. Theres also the fact that players like Punk get conditioning before the game even starts cause most opponents are watching your matches or are already familiar with what you can do.

Because Punk has the best neutral in SF6. This is like asking why Floyd Mayweather can throw jabs and dudes just take it but when you throw jabs you get KTFO.

@@MrCrimsonftw Also Punk's understanding of spacing is the best in SF6, this guy just sees space differently, you will get hit at a range you didn't even know was possible. his ability to just make you fear buttons, worked against neutral monsters like Chris Wong, Punk put a clinic on in the later rounds.

@Sajam I'm gonna have to give you the L on this one. You opened your M. Bison to Master video at 0:03 and say "I think M. Bison might be the best character in the game" and then get surprised that people run with the narrative that he's OP and top 1. You also said in the same video at 5:35 "I will be shocked if the next balance patch doesn't nerf him." and continued to say that through the video. Then during an argument with someone in chat who said Bison's anti-airs suck you said that he has one of the best anti airs in the game. Sorry, normally I'm on your side but I feel you have been a big contributing factor in the M. Bison Hype Train so it's kinda cringe to turn around now and say people are over hyping him.

I think Bison is going to be oppressive like Honda was before his nerfs. Except he's also not a bad character beyond the easy to abuse special moves. How well will that play at tournament level? I have no idea. It's absolutely miserable for us normal people though.

You know hearing how exhausting character discourse is im glad I dont play with my old friends anymore nor keep up in fgc social media. From the sounds of it its quite annoying and im happier not hearing about it.
