Something about this iteration of Nightwolf, I like him. In the past he sort of passed under my notice, didn’t make much of an impression. If you take the information given to you from the other kombatants, "Nightwolf" is a mantle, or a title...not a person. Listen to his conversations with Shang Tsung. He says "A Nightwolf came to my island once", NW replies with "she was my predesesor." ST "I finished her in a flawless victory." Shang Tsung only ever won a single recorded Mortal Kombat, and that was centuries ago, prior to enlisting Goro. Geras follows this by mentioning facing other Nightwolves. Nightwolf replies that he will be the last, Geras says that the "others" said that to. This is interesting because Shang Tsung clarifies that there is a single Nightwolf at a time, and he caught one before(later mirror matches confirm it as a power base...think Shazam and Black Adam from DC). Where Geras line is a little iffy, as he is a fixed point in time that travels to different times. Has he met previous Nightwolves? Who knows, maybe the same one. Also as a note: this Nightwolf apparently has the name Grey Cloud, according to Kuai Liang(Sub-Zero).

Well I mean they're not wrong on multiple levels... But at the same time implying that all Americans are solely responsible for all the mistreatment of all the tribes of native Americans is nothing but an embittering, derogatory, and a useless dialogue. One should stand up based on their own merits, lead with a presence that inspires others, and lead with honor and forgiveness. We are too focused on punishment, which does nothing to help anyone, and this has reflected negatively upon our prison systems. The war on drugs is an excellent example.
