I walked out after that a try to study as much as I could and ask a bunch of questions and rating and spec before I buy. It would of been nice if the internet was available then. I can relate man,I work in irrigation about 40 hrs a week,good money but I live in mass,super hight taxes,I install sprinkler systems and landscape lighting on these houses that belong to rich hyper doushebag people while I make under $700 a week,I'm thankful, super humble,I was homeless with 2 cats and a old dog about 5yrs back,but now I have a ok house a nice car system and my little ones (cats and dog) have a safe and comfy home,I was a fuck up growing up,had a sloppy addiction to dope blah blah but that was then and thos is now and now is good!! Yeah, the prices are so insane, its like... you want a single recone for a w7 12? Might as well go buy 2 Skar or sundown midrange subs that can take more power anyway. I agree. I used to have 2 W712's, and they just dont handle power in comparison to subs a 1/3 of the price that would absolutely wreck a W7. Now, i still run 2 old ass Audiopipe TXX-BDC4 15"s on 2 Skar RP 2000 amps. Been running the same subs for almost 7 years. Ive gone through several amp changes but the subs just take a beating and keep on slamming. Ive overdriven them to the point of smelling them dozens of times over the years, and they just will not die. I'm not even a big audiopipe fan, these subs just take the abuse so i just keep them, ive gotten well beyond my money out of them, once one finally blows, i'll probably look at American Bass, or maybe look for some older orion HCCA 15's. Hell, might even try something Patrick has at the time.

With the Bag End Infra series subs you had to use their infra processors for the subs to work as spec’d. So buy the cabinet $$$, the processor another $$$ and power amp $$$. And finally,,, Infra technology. It works, it’s impressive, it’s just complicated. Oh,,, wait,,, this channel is about rebuilding speakers, that’s way cooler than infra subs. We carry a nice 4ch class D that provides up to 700wrms total for only $80 shipped that should help. You might also not have enough high frequency drivers to keep up with your bass. Too many variables to really find an easy solution.

I've dipped to 11V before without shutting an amp off lol. Maybe you could make a video about class D amps for mids/highs. I've personally used what I think is a class D chip amp for highs and I thought it was fine, but there's people who have a weird "class D for subs only) thought pattern that I don't understand

SCAM. Speaker looks good but performs like the crappiest swapmeet /walmart sub you ever heard. It kind of looks impressive but it's a real piece of crap. Heavy shiny garbage. Sounded real muddy & distorted at both low and high volume. Too much excursion for no reason, the music wasn't even playing yet. Like mic or phono feedback. All new, quality brand electronics including kenwood hi res deck & Hertz amps... pro install. Quality custom box too. Within 5 minutes of use the robot sub smelled strong like very hot voice coil. *He (patrick) immediately blamed my amp when told him about it. Said he couldn't help me. He's selling scrap metal with a shiny carbon cap & rubber surround on it claiming it's equivalent to a JL W7. That's laughable. If you listen to his videos he claims he's also a comedian but this is probably the best joke he's got... JL W7? Like comparing a repainted ford pinto to a modern Ferrari & saying it's the same, numbers don't matter. Then hit the race track & immediately blame the track without even looking down at it. Cause you know. Appearance maybe from the front looks good but the performance is a joke. Paid $250 for this sub... $50 would have been waay too much. Waste of time & money. He claimed it handled 1200 rms- 1500 watt peak power & my 750 watt amp would be fine. The system (other than this robot crap) is clean. It's 2 months old & installed by a very reputable professional shop. Went back to my old sub without touching any wiring outside of the sub box. Wire polarity was not changed inside of the box either. Plays great again with the old JLW6 sub. Speakers both 2ohm. **I came at him respectfully, like a man. He responded chump-like..."Sorry lol its your amp I've seen this before". I'll bet he has. Scamming, disguised as a church of some kind while doing it. The outreach program is him reaching out to steal your money. Don't listen when chumps say brands don't matter & specs don't matter. Of course they matter. That's my mistake for trusting him & the videos he puts out on utube. It's all smoke & mirror bs. **If it has some big trash magnets & he can run a signal through it & show a bunch of excursion it must sound badass right? Nope. Can't fool karma though. Whatever denomination, you know that's real. He'll probably say I'm a hater for criticizing truthfully. Like small time con men do. Here's the thing.. In order for someone to be hated on they have to be in an enviable position. I envy nothing about any lowlives or scam speaker-maker/church/ outreach programs. It doesn't work like that Mike. Sorry to say. The motor needs to be more powerful and it helps if the coil has more mass to it if you want higher pefromance. I'm 41 and I had a 2 15" mtx thunders in my 1984 dodge Daytona (my mom's old car) a month before I got my license. Jeff Scoon is who left PPI in like 1996 and formed Xtant. He sold them to the MITEK Group (who continued to use his designs and were still great amps...so many say they turned into MTX crap. Not they didn't but when has MTX been crap?) and later went to work for JL Audio and currently does. If a company like JL would just have a laugh and go with the parody stickers, they would actually get more respect and more business. They do have great products but not the best so there's no reason to act the way they do. So many say we need more American made products and to buy USA.....well....JL is what you get. Very high priced....possibly overpriced....with an attitude. Yay.....USA.....yayyyyy.......(insert fart noise)

110% correct the brands now with few exceptions are nameplates. I decided to enjoy audio vs chasing a line or getting robbed by some of the other lines for the product. DId I use some more well known names yes but I hand selected what I bought and reused some vintage pieces. Would have loved to hear that call from Jeff Scoon hilarious
