@@unkind78 Ah yes it's on wikipedia, that automatically makes it true. Legally it's called Pantera, sure. And the reason for it are the suits. To get a tour that big going they would never take the risk and let the band call themselves CFH or something. The musicians (both inside and outside the band) however are saying that it's a tribute. Vinnie's estate, which gave the crucial OK for all of this said the same.

My Pantera 2001 shows will always be the final PANTERA concert. This clearly isnt Pantera, no matter what anyone says, so I'll be there to enjoy Phil & Rex crush a headlining set of Pantera tunes with some of the Abbotts best friends. I have seen pantera live. Greatest moment ever at a concert. This isn't pantera. You can't call it pantera when the two main music writers aren't there. Enjoy the show but if you think watching zakk wylde playing is the same, you aren't a real fan.
