Just knowing (some of us) what is to come in 2025 & the length of S1/S14 it just feels like we haven't seen enough of Millie & that's entirely not her fault. In fact she is in danger of being a plot device like Jenna once was & I dearly hope RTD can make it feel more. Only time (& space) will tell

@@milodoesntknow2090 she's already confirmed to be in the next season, but not all of the episodes. i think roughly around 3 or 4 episodes? so perhaps maybe a few at the start and then the finale as RTD said some of Ruby's storyline carries on until the end of Season 2.

I wonder when they filmed this. The way they're dressed makes it seem like this was while shooting Church on Ruby Road, but if that's true, that's really sweet that they already had this level of chemistry with each other while shooting their first episode together!

@fgjsdfgjkl It's more the complete package, which is too loud, too shrill and told far too flat. The stories and the characters had so much potential. But it wasn't used and instead there were musical elements, special effects and bad dialogue. But as I said, that's just my opinion.

I can't see any of the 'great chemistry' that was mentioned before, but never mind that, it's not a biggie compared to what Ncuti and RTD have done to 'Doctor Who'. I guess one of the biggest problems is that Ncuti plays Ncuti. Someone, please, tell this guy that he's playing the Doctor, not a hormonal teenager from a random Netflix series. Also, crying isn't necessarily a synonym for decent acting. Anyway...a good storyline could compensate for mediocre acting, but that's just not the case. Despite some interesting bits, the story in general lacks depth. P.S. Once I thought that Capaldi's era was the worst... well...I couldn't have been more wrong. He did a great job. i apologize for ever thinking he was a bad choice for the role.

Guess I'm the opposite of everyone else. I like Ncuti Gatwa as the Doctor. But I'd rather someone else as companion. Millie is a great actress and has shown a lot of range. But the way they have her costumed and the lines she is fed she comes off as your basic bland blonde. Rose, Donna, Clara, Amy all had very distinct personalities. Ruby not so much. She's just super agreeable all the time and smiling even when there is a baby eating goblin king. She does pull some good faces when the Doctor does certain things. Fair. But put some pants on her. Cut her hair funny. Make her act out a bit more like most kids who don't know who their parents are do. Make her less boring.

I've always felt that way about the majority of Doctor Who interviews. I will say that this time around it seems more genuine. I think they're both just like that. There is such a thing as people who are genuinely too nice or tend to adore a little too much. These people exist despite how foreign it might seem. I think it's healthy to try and give someone the benefit of the doubt instead of reading between the lines. I think they're literally having an adoration competition. 😂
