Glad you liked it! We'd been doing it off and on for about six years prior to this. We just picked our favorite version of the routine, typed up a transcript, and memorized it. Took about a month, I think, before we gave the first performance.

When I was a kid, I knew a Chinese kid named Hu. One time I asked him if he ever played baseball. He said yes, so I asked him if he was a first baseman. He asked me what's a first baseman, so I said no, what's a 2nd baseman.

I honestly almost skipped this, since I believe Abbott and Costello's "whose on first" is the funniest 8 minutes on film. But I must confess, this is extremely well done. Very funny.

Not bad at all. Most don't get the frustration that Lou Costello had in the skit when doing it. Not bad at all.

Very fine work, I didn't even notice any mistakes. It is cool that you were able to alter it slightly (like skipping past signing the receipts), but still in keeping the spirit of the routine. Congrats!

hey guys well done :) it takes guts to even attempt this routine, it is so well known that any part you do wrong will make the whole thing come unglued, and I have seen some lousy attempts at this, I began to watch it expecting the worse........but you guys pulled it off, not an easy thing to do, and you were not trying to just be a copy of the original either, I liked that you two were funny in your own style.........WELL DONE !!!!!!!

They failed at 2 minutes in: "Who do you pay the money to?" "Every dollar of it." That's a non sequitur, which doesn't make sense. The original was: "Who gets the money(./?)" "Every dollar of it." That's ambiguous enough to work. Which makes me realize how brilliant the original is. It takes amazing skill to make the language seem natural, while avoiding any phrasings that break down the illusion, as the one above does.

Sorry, I don't but if you Google "who's on first script" you should find plenty of examples. Not all of them will be the same as what we did, but you can adjust whatever you find. We ended up customizing ours a bit.

Look, there's numerous attempts at this all over KZbin and they try their best and it's fun to watch but it does make you appreciate how brilliant Abbott and Costello were in the original.
