Disagree about Soto. Could’ve been but no longevity. I’d pick Jayson Werth, followed by Harper, then maybe Soto.

I went into this list not naming the greatest Nats, but the most important figures to the organization. Werth was considered, but the value of Soto pre and post trade is too much to look past.

If if I could have five guys on Mount Rushmore, then it would be your list plus Bryce Harper. If I had to choose four and it was between Soto and Harper. It’s so so tough but honestly, I want to give it to Harper. he put the Nats in the map. He always came through in the postseason. This guy would always, and I mean, always shut up the haters. He paved the way for the future talent like Soto. just to add to that. Jason Wirth is very overrated. I love Jason Wirth. But I feel like people say he should be on everything and have his day his number retired because of game four of the NLDS. I mean, he only had one or two really really good seasons in that 6 to 7 year deal which was a dump trunk of money . Jason Wehr does not deserve to be in the ring. Bryce Harper definitely does. They need to retire, Harper Strasburg, Max Scherzer, and Hell Juan Soto as well in DC.
